Wow, that’s great news!
Ryan Clover-OwensParticipantAre you saying I can add this code to my functions file to make the change?
Ryan Clover-OwensParticipantHey Victor, my developer was able to fix this, so the data is not being
cleared when there’s an error. Yay!Thanks for getting me started on the URL inputs.

February 14, 2018 at 12:00 pm in reply to: Map Zoom level? I change it in the settings, but it doesn't change #1453361Ryan Clover-OwensParticipantI appreciate that it automatically zooms. On our website, this just looks a bit off. When you zoom in just one level it all looks better.
Where would you point a developer if they were to customize the zoom level?
Thanks,
RyanRyan Clover-OwensParticipantThanks, I understand you offer limited custom support.
In this case, I hired a developer to work with me on this and she’s following this thread.
Is there anything that you can share here that would enable her to make the changes we need to force adding new events as opposed to choosing from the list?
Thanks!

events all over the US, but want to zoom in just one more step so I don’t
see the entire world map.Ryan Clover-OwensParticipantOooo…I just found this thread – https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/map-view-tooltip-customization/ –
which I believe gives me enough code to run with.Ryan Clover-OwensParticipantCan I give it a try and if it doesn’t work for this project refund my purchase?
Ryan Clover-OwensParticipantIf I purchase the filter bar, can I restrict it to just a few options… so that users don’t need to see the entire filter bar?
The reason I want to make these customizations is to keep it simple for the reader. We just want a drop down of 5 categories so that the user can choose the category they’d like to filter… but don’t need all the options available in Filter bar.
Thanks!

I’m fully tested with only the 2016 theme activated. Still, my venues which
all have addresses are not showing up on the map. Only a few events, and I
don’t see any options to correct the geolocation – which is so strange
because I’ve seen this option before. Here’s the link to my cloned site where I’m trying to get it to work.
