MemberHey Lee, thanks for the note. Is this possibly an issue of where the calendar is installed? Everything before the /events isn’t being generated by the plugin; the URL structure for the events should be the same as for any other post. Is there a reason you need to have the index.php in the URL to begin with?
Let me know, just to clarify things for me. I can get a dev to take a look from there as needed.

MemberHeh…Community Events is still planned for late 2011, though we’re going to be cutting it close, so that “late 2011” will mean “the last week or two of 2011.” It is still on track to be out, at least in beta stage, by the end of the year.
It’s a good point regarding some explanatory language at the top of Tim’s tutorial; last I saw he’d added something along those lines. What exactly would you like to see there? I’d be happy to pass the suggestion his way.
Rob
MemberNope, this is perfect…thanks for confirming. This is a bit outside my technical area of expertise, but I’m going to get our dev Jonah to chime in directly.
Rob
MemberSounds good – thanks for confirming, Joe. I’ll get Jonah to chime in today.

MemberHey Tom. Thanks for the note; that’s a weird issue. Have you resaved your permalinks and given it another shot? If so, any chance you could post this in a new thread (so as not to cause confusion) and link to the site so I could check that out?
Rob
MemberHey John. We can help you out here; what exactly are you aiming to accomplish?
Rob
MemberSorry about the lack of HTML tags in the forum…we’re working to change that. I’ll get our dev Jonah to respond as to your initial request.
Rob
MemberThanks for the note, Terrance. That should be doable with a little hackery. Let me get our dev Jonah to chime in with his suggestions.

MemberThat could be; but I’m not sure that would impact the appearance. Certainly worth a shot though. Have you logged on to your account at tri.be, and made sure the license key isn’t tied to another website / disconnected it if it was?
Rob
MemberHey Peter. We are in the process of putting together a broader walkthrough on this, but in the interim hopefully this will give you what you need:
1. Open the .pot file from the plugin folder in POEdit.
2. Make the changes to whatever word(s) you want to translate, leaving the rest untouched.
3. When you’re done, save to generate the new .po and .mo files.
4. Label those newly-saved files with whatever language code you deem appropriate, then save them in the lang folder.
5. In your WP config file, change the language to reflect that corresponding code.Upon saving and reviewing the frontend, you should be all set. Let me know if that gives you problems or if you have any questions on this.
Rob
MemberHey Joe: thanks for the feedback. I just tested an event with the same criteria you’d noted and the “Mutliday Event Cutoff” was working fine; can you resave your permalinks and check again, then send me a link to where I can view this if the issue persists?
I’ll check with the devs re: your second request…sounds reasonable, definitely. If it wouldn’t cause any issues we’ll get that integrated for 2.1.
Rob
MemberHey Joe. What version of the plugin are you using? By Default the calendar of events should have the title tags: “Events for (current month, current year)” | (Website Name).” There was a title tag-related issue with 2.0 that was patched in 2.0.1, which may have fixed this.
As for editing the title tags, let me get our dev Jonah to chime in on how that’s possible (since i’m not sure myself).
Rob
MemberSounds like you had a serious issue there, Rona – I’m assuming based on your follow-up note that you got this resolved on your own? Do you need anything else from us or have any questions for the team that I could pass along?
Rob
MemberThat’s a good question, Rona. I’m not sure myself but Jonah should know…I’ll get him to respond directly.
