    Just wanted to let you know that we could work this out with the Sensei team. They have just rolled out an update (version 1.9.6) with a fix for this issue, so you can go ahead an update the plugin in your site.

    Hi @bradystarr,

    Just wanted to inform you that Brook is going to be mostly out today, so I’m taking over to reply.

    What you ask is not a feature of the plugin right now. We do have a feature request for this in UserVoice (Import “Get Tickets” link from Facebook event posts) you are welcome to chime in and add your vote and/or comment. You can input the ticket URL in the ‘Website’ field of the event. Of course this has to be done manually and it’s a bummer but might work for now.

    Mike,

    Thanks for the patience while someone from the dev team analyzed the code and the data migration.

    So, after picking some randoms threads the conclusion was that the recurrence description was successfully migrated for all case, but on some cases (like event #3129 “Hackney South Youth Forum”) we did notice that – for us – the recurrence pattern didn’t show as expected in the event editor or the frontend following the migration. Can you check on that event to see if we are getting the same result?

    Thanks for reaching out to us! I’ll help you here…

    Our plugin uses the actual WordPress auth workflow to create accounts or to login/logout users. There’s not much you can do from the plugin side it self to change this. But there are several plugins that let you tune WordPress register form and options.

    In the case that you are not receiving the emails, you should check the server mail logs (or contact them) and see if the emails are coming out from the server.

    if it was possible for TEC to pull random featured images from a chosen set of images?

    It’s doable. Not by default, but surely possible if you customize the default templates for single event view or the ones that you need (themer’s guide). It would be like doing it for posts or pages, but you’ll need to edit the events template instead.

    Is it possible to assign an event a TBC date?

    No, all events need to have an start and end date and time. Maybe you can add an additional field (feature of Events Calendar PRO) to flag the event as TBC, and show a badge or something in the event listing. Some users fin useful to create a post announcing the event (without having the dates confirmed) and once it’s defined, they create the event.

    Can you elaborate a bit on what you refer to temporarily? Did it work after the update but stop working now?

    If you follow the steps described in the New User Primer: Eventbrite Tickets, does it work as expected? Are you able to authorize the API?

    Anyway in these cases we usually recommend reaching out to the theme author as well to see if this a feature of their product that might not be compatible with ours. Or event to ask if they ensure compatibility with our plugins.

    Regarding the gird of events, I think photo view (a feature of Events Calendar PRO) does a great job, take a look: http://wpshindig.com/events/photo/

    On the filters part of the questions, the FilterBar add-on is the way to go. If you think this is an overkill and you just want to filter by category, then the third-party plugin The Events Calendar Category Colors might be a good choice.
