MemberHey Charles,
Thanks for clarifying! Yes, something similar to what you describe is surely possible š
Just attaching the upcoming (or all) recurrence instances of the event in the single-event page. Cliff, one of the support team members wrote a snippet to get this behaviour done ā https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/a77f4943e13f9e4e243564a210f82c83
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

MemberThanks for following up Stuart!
Not sure if this would work completely but you can try to create a ‘tribe-events’ folder in your child theme and copy over the following file wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list.php and the folder wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list/. Again, maybe the best way is to reach otu to their support and ask them about it. Although the original templates are in place they might have CSS and JS customizations that will affect the view as well.
Anyway give this a quick try and let me know if it works for you,

MemberHey Gene,
Thanks for reaching out once again! There’s still no date set for the fix of this issue, moreso due to some related tickets the ‘Default Content’ feature is being revisited and might end up redefined a bit. I’ll probably have more news on this later this week, I’ll let you know when I have some more info on this.

MemberGlad to hear Matt!
I’d say bulk edit users to change their role to author. I don’t see any downsides on this, and in fact the codex state ‘Subscriber ā somebody who can only manage their profile’, so I guess this is not a bug on our side but how WordPress manages content. I guess the thing here is that ‘Suscriber’ is the default user role for new users in WordPress so most likely site admins won’t notice this. Do you think this was your case?
Do you see any downsides to have a user as an āAuthorā instead of a basic āSubscriberā?
No, just be sure to block admin access in WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Access Control for the author role.
Please let me know your thoughts on this,

MemberPerfect!
Just a minor question: now the selector ādate/events viewā appears UNDER the map, not OVER as before⦠why?
By default the title and the date/events view nav are below the map, and this is the way it was displayed before the customization. Not sure if at a previous point you had a customization to tweak this.
Please let me know about it,

MemberHi there Jose,
Glad to hear you could try out our plugins š
Ok, so first questions about recurrence patterns (check out our knowledge base article on this):
A) [DAILY EVENTS WITH DIFFERENT TIMES IN THE WEEKENDS]
Sure, instead of setting a daily recurrence patter you should generate two different weekly patterns ā https://cloudup.com/cjejWk_Wjsg
B) [AN EVENT THAT TAKES PLACE THE 1ST THURSDAY OF THE MONTH]
It’s possible with a custom monthly recurrence pattern ā https://cloudup.com/ctxR7vzhKku
C) [SCATTERED EVENT]
Yes, you can achieve this by using the ‘date’ recurring option: “The Date option allows you to add a specific day for the event to reoccur. This is a useful option if your recurring event has an irregular schedule, or has a few random dates in addition to a broader pattern.”
2) Is there a way to have the āfeatured imageā for the facebook event be the rectanguar cover image for the facebook event page instead of the regular image. The regular image comes in so many different sizes and it doesnt make the page look good
I guess not, but to have all images in the same size you can change the featured image size parameter in the events template. The default size parameter is ‘full’ which as you say is the original size, but you can change that to a pre-set image size (post thumbnails sizes) or define your own (add new post thumbnail sizes).
Hope that helps,
Best,

MemberLeah,
Thanks for following up, regarding your question:
To get the premium support though ā I obviously need to upgrade⦠could you please advise if this would be an Events Calendar Pro or Event Tickets Plus query?
That’s up to you, Events Calendar PRO will add more event/calendar related features (like extra event views) while Event Tickets Plus will add the ability to sell tickets with WooCommerce (or Easy Digital Downloads, WP-Ecommerce, Shopp). In any case the support provided covers the premium plugins you have and the core ones (The Events Calendar and Event Tickets).
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

MemberHi Richard,
Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest in our plugins!
Can you please let me know what works, what can handle both sources and keep me informed about ticket sales/availability
For EventBrite events we have a specific plugin that handles that ā https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/ – Be sure to check out the product page and to take a look at the video demo in there. Regarding MeetUp, we are about to release a new plugin called Event Aggregator that will handle MeetUp, iCal, Facebook and Google Calendar imports take a look ā https://theeventscalendar.com/wordpress-event-aggregator/ . This last plugin is not out yeat, but will be in less than a month time, you can also subscribe to get information about the beta release of the plugin.
I tried clicking on the suggested links when I entered the topic and the system kept telling me I needed to enter a topic, which I already had in there.
I’m not sure about what you mean. Did you have a previously created thread and you cannot access it to reply?
Also, how will you support me if I need help with Events Calendar? I want to be able to access resources pretty quickly when I need help.
All support for license holders is provided via the premium forums. You can read about our support policy here ā What support is provided for license holders?
Please let me know if the above answers your questions,
Best,
NicoNico

MemberThanks for the follow-up Corey!
Thanks for the great suggestion for the ticket sales! This client isnāt that interested in ticket sales (they just love the Eventbrite control panel), but I think that idea could work if they ever want to sell tickets in the future.
Sounds great š
Does that mean a private event created on Eventbrite.com wonāt show up in this plugin automatically (or vice versa ā created in plugin, and viewed on Eventbrite.com)?
No, the plugin won’t sync both site and EB account automatically. Events have to be imported manually to the site, and also exporting site events to EB is a manual action. Be sure to check the video demo in the product page ā https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

MemberHola Jean,
