GuestIs it possible to have a single page for a recurring event that shows all of the upcoming dates and times of the event, not just one? For a festival, it would be nice to be able to have a list of every film (not every showing of every film), and then each film page displays a list of the showing times.

MemberHi there Charles,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interest in our products 🙂
Is it possible to have a single page for a recurring event that shows all of the upcoming dates and times of the event
Good news! This page exists, and it’s accesible via http://sitename.com/event/recurring/all/ URL. This is how it looks in default TweentySixteen theme → https://cloudup.com/cZvcelcuLHk
Also, if you want to show a list of the upcoming recurrence instance of the event on the single page, that possible with a code snippet. We can provide this customization as part of the support we give in our premium forums.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

GuestI was thinking more along the lines of a page that says:
————–
SAMPLE EVENT TITLE
Information, content, images, some custom fields and taxonomies all describing the event
Schedule:
August 22 @ 8:30-9:30
August 24 @ 10:00-11:00
August 31 @ 1:30-3:00
————–
So it’s more of a page about the event that has a list of showings rather than a list of showings, with each instance containing the same information over and over. Then we could send our patrons to a single page for the film to get all of the info at once. Is such a thing possible?August 22, 2016 at 1:01 pm #1154502Nico
MemberHey Charles,
Thanks for clarifying! Yes, something similar to what you describe is surely possible 🙂
Just attaching the upcoming (or all) recurrence instances of the event in the single-event page. Cliff, one of the support team members wrote a snippet to get this behaviour done → https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/a77f4943e13f9e4e243564a210f82c83
