MemberHi Eduardo,
Thanks for getting in touch, and for your interest in our plugins! I believe that our plugins could be a good starting point for your project, but you’ll likely need to do some customizing and/or hire a developer to accomplish all of these. Please keep in mind that we cannot assist with complex customizations.
Since WooCommerce Tickets is likely the most customizable of our ticketing plugins, that would probably be best for you. WooCommerce also has many available extensions which could help you meet your goals. I’ll address each one of your needs:
ticket types:
– VIP tickets: higher cost
– regular tickets
– free tickets
– free children tickets when coming with parents
– reserved ticktes/places por disable people
– group tickets
– season tickets:
– free entrance
– reduced ticket
– early bird ticketsAt this time, WooCommerce tickets allow for general tickets sales- regular tickets, free tickets, discounted tickets, tickets of different costs (such as for VIP) and early bird tickets. The other types you mention are not built in. You might be able to do it with a WooCommerce extension, or with some customization.
cancellations:
– is there any financial/paypal cost when a ticket is cancelled? There is nothing built in to our plugin, but WooCommerce might have an extension to do this.
seating chart managment
At this time, our plugin does not do seating chart management. We might add one in the future. You can vote for that here.
offline/box ticket selling
WooCommerce Tickets does include the ability to Add an Order, so you could potentially sell tickets to people in person, if you had a computer and were logged into the site.
euro currency
Yes, our plugins support the euro.
ticket printing:
– home printing
– ticket office retrivalTicket buyers can print their tickets at home. They can’t pick them up on the box office, unless you printed them out yourself at the ticket office.
can tickets be read with a smartphone at the hall?
Not at this time. We may add QR codes or bar codes in the future. You can vote for that here.
event calendar
For sure! Our core plugin, The Events Calendar, is free and provides you with a nice calendar and other related features.
translations/localization in spanish language
The Events Calendar and WooCommerce Tickets are translated into Spanish. The translations are maintained by volunteers, so they can sometimes get outdated. However, you can always update the translation yourself. Check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need.
Let me know if you have any further questions!

MemberHi Michael,
Thanks for getting in touch! The first thing to do here is to confirm that this is indeed a theme conflict. If you can (or you have a test site), switch back to a default theme like Twenty Thirteen and check to see if the issue is resolved. If that fixes it, you know it is indeed the theme that causing the issue.
If you do decide to purchase Events Calendar PRO we will do our best to help you out. However, we can’t customize your site for you, and if complex customizations are needed to get your theme working with our plugin we will only be able to provide limited support. I highly recommend you read over this post for more details on our policy.
As Rob notes in that post, this doesn’t mean that we won’t help- it’s just that we do have limitations on our support. It also depends on your capabilities and confidence, of course. The first step would be to have you take a look at our Themer’s Guide. If that doesn’t help you get sorted, you might want to consider upgrading to Events Calendar PRO for the support capabilities. I’d also be happy to recommend some developers who could work on your site, if you’d like.

MemberHi planet,
Thanks so much for your work on this translation! The files look great and they will be included in the next release of the plugin. You will be credited in the readme file.
If you’d like, I can send you a coupon code for a free renewal of WooCommerce Tickets, or a free license for one of our other plugins. Just let me know what you’d like. Thanks again for helping translate!

MemberHi robertbalucas,
Can you confirm for me that you are running the latest version of each plugin- The Events Calendar 3.5.1 and WooCommerce Tickets 3.5? Also, you’ll need to be running WooCommerce 2.1 or above. Lastly, are you running a multi-site?
If you are not running the latest version of those, please update. Since you don’t have the license keys in you may need to do a manual update using a download from your account’s downloads page (tri.be/my-account/downloads/). Once you’re running concurrent versions, you should be able to see the license key field under Events –> Settings –> License Keys and see the Ticketing panel on your Add Event page.
If you do the above and are still not seeing those, please send me some screenshots and we’ll go from there. Thanks for your patience while we figure this out!

MemberHi Sol,
Good call! We’re working on making wpshindig responsive and also adding more demo features to it. Thanks for your patience while we work on that 🙂
If you’d like to demo the calendar’s responsiveness, I recommend that you download our free core plugin, The Events Calendar, which is also responsive. You can play with it on a test install with your own theme.

MemberHi John,
Thanks for your note. At this time, you can edit the details of a recurring event instance- but it will break that instance out of the recurrence pattern. To keep them all links as recurring events, the details must match exactly. However, we are working on making a more flexible recurring events. I don’t have a specific ETA, but this is one of our main priorities right now so hopefully we’d have it for you soon. Does that answer your question?

MemberHi Joseph,
Thanks for your note. We do not give out trial licenses. However, you can read all about the features of the different plugins on the product pages and in the new user primers. The new user primers include video walkthroughs of all the features so you can see what that looks like.
Because our ticketing plugins are essentially bridges between our calendar and third-party ecommerce engines, I highly recommend that you check out the two free ecommerce engines- WooCommerce and Easy Digital Downloads. That will give you a good idea of the different commerce functions and what kind of settings are available.
Finally, if you have any specific questions about our plugins, you can ask here and we’d be happy to answer them. Thanks for your interest!

MemberHi Marcia,
Thanks for posting, and for your interest in our products. Events Calendar PRO adds a lot of cool features to your calendar, but it does not include the ability for users to add events to your calendar from the front end of the site. Anyone who needs to add events to the site would need to be a registered site user with the necessary user permissions.
If you want your users to be able to submit events from the front end, without getting into the admin side of your site, Community Events is what you want. You can set it so that all submissions are set to Pending Review until you decide to Publish them. There’s no built in way to send the events back to the user to review. However, you can set it so users must register on your site and can see and edit their own events, so you could do that just using email.
Does that answer your questions?

MemberHi immeemz,
Thanks for all the information, that really helped. I didn’t realize that you were using the example view plugin that gives you Agenda View, but once you sent me the link I understood. Unfortunately, since that is not part of Events Calendar PRO, we are not able to support it. I suspect that part of the problem is that the Agenda View doesn’t have any translations. However, since it’s on github you could submit translations or suggestions that way.
Is your G \h i time setting working in any part of The Events Calendar? I believe that setting only works if you have the French WordPress files installed (not just the translation files, but the actual WordPress files) which is why I haven’t been able to recreate it. It would help me if you could tell me where in The Events Calendar and Events Calendar that is and is not respected. As I said before, I can’t help with the Agenda View format.
We are working on a solution for the date format issue so that you can easily display dates in the French format. It may even be available sooner that I thought, but certainly not before our next release. If you need to change the date formats now, you can dig into the PHP date format. Thanks for your patience while we get a built-in solution made.

MemberHi Ed,
You are correct, you would need to purchase Events Calendar PRO and Community Events. We don’t have a discount available at the moment- the best way to hear about coupons code is via our Facebook page, Twitter feed, and newsletter. Thanks for your support!

Thanks for your note! Our SwagMaster came down with a nasty illness right when I last chatted to you about the goodies, hence the delay. I believe something is flying through the mail to you now. Thanks for your patience!

MemberHi Simon,
The translations for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are getting outdated, which is why the translation for Time isn’t showing. Would you be interested in updating the files? That would get that string and other translated.
If you’re interested, check out the Getting Started post where you’ll find the instructions and files you need.

Leah
