Joseph PentheroudakisParticipant
Thanks Jeremy. I’m set up to share system info automatically, not sure why it wasn’t included. I’ve included it in all my previous tickets.
The problem I had with the duplicate event was caused by a user entering weird recurrences using the community events form. The event had ended up with permalink soup. I tried to repair it all in the WordPress draft event editor but couldn’t. So I just split the extra Friday off of the series and deleted it; presto! problem fixed.
The permalinks still look ugly, but that’s fine.
Thanks!
Joseph PentheroudakisParticipantThanks Brendan, that worked!
While I have you on the phone, so to speak: is there a CSS snippet I can
use to bump up the font size in event descriptions in month view?Joseph PentheroudakisParticipantEdit: I can’t seem to be able to edit the page where the calendar lives so I can block the sidebar..
February 15, 2018 at 6:26 am in reply to: HELP: Month View broken after updating to 4.4.2.3 #1454058Joseph PentheroudakisParticipantUPDATE: I reverted back to the January versions for Basic Calendar and Calendar PRO.
NEW PROBLEM: Now I have two plugins listed for Basic (see screenshot). I don’t want to delete the deactivated one since I don’t want to lose settings or other data. Suggestions?

I’ll try reverting to the previous versions of the two.

Really annoyed.

November 15, 2017 at 6:51 am in reply to: Page title doesn't show on main events calendar view #1383448Joseph PentheroudakisParticipantThanks Geoff! The added the snippets and now I get the right titles for Venue, Organizer etc, and the title for List/Week/Day views is Events. Month view is still blank though, so the second snippet doesn’t seem to help.
I’ll zip and share the theme files sometime in the next couple of days.
Thanks again.

Joseph PentheroudakisParticipantDoh. Somehow I had missed the ‘Series ends’ line on the form. Works fine now, so I’ll close this ticket.
:=)
Joseph PentheroudakisParticipantOops, never mind. I tested this (should have done that first!) and it looks like you do save new venues on draft events, so this is probably an end user error. We’ll just try to catch the dupes when we edit draft events.
I’ll close this ticket now.
Sorry about the false alarm!
October 4, 2017 at 7:04 am in reply to: making Organizer field required in event submission #1358879Joseph PentheroudakisParticipantThat’s great, thanks Jaime! I’ll give it a try and let you know if I have any questions.
