ParticipantHello theinnerathlete,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
We have a great video that will help you in the process of installing your plugins on your site.
The username / email that you use on this site doesn’t have to match what is used on the WordPress install that will be using the plugins. The only thing that will need to be brought over will be the License key from your purchase. That will need to be added to the site where you are using the plugins.
Let me know if you have any further questions beyond what was covered in the video above.
Thanks!
Josh

Unfortunately there currently isn’t an option to permanently set the sort order by start date within the plugin settings. However, there is this snippet that may be able to point you in the right direction for permanently filtering the query that displays those posts within the admin the way that you would like.
As for the issue with the number of registrants for the event displaying in that table, this seems like a great idea for the plugin. Outside of custom coding these elements (this appears to be a great article for that) you can submit a feature request on our UserVoice page for our developers to consider this feature for an upcoming release.
I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you a direct response however I hope this was able to point you in the right direction.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello barbaralerici,
Thanks for providing these screenshots! This will be helpful as we look into developing compatibility with the WPML plugin.
Out of curiosity, does the issue with the comments section resolve itself when you deactivate the WPML plugin?
Thanks!
Josh
ParticipantHello stellarblue,
Thanks for following up with us. This is actually something controlled by WooCommerce. There is a great snippet here that can be added to your theme’s
functions.phpfile that will allow those orders to be autocompleted.I’ll go ahead and close this ticket for now since we’ve now deviated away from the original topic. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to open a new ticket.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello adambowie,
Thanks for following up with us!
Unfortunately there isn’t a text version of the ticket email built into our plugin currently. By default, the email should be sending as an HTML email. Is there something in the SendGrid settings that is forcing the email to be sent as a plain text version?
Thanks!

ParticipantHello om4,
Thanks for following up with us!
Unfortunately I am unable to recreate the issue and the only reference I can see of others having similar issues is from an older version of our plugin that has since been patched.
I understand your hesitation with following the Testing for Conflicts procedures however this could still be a conflict with your current configuration and could be the only way to find your solution.
I apologize for the inconvenience but hopefully this can get us pointed in the right direction.
Thanks!

I just noticed that your stated plugin version is pretty old. Also, the code pasted in your initial post for “TribeEventsFilter_Venue.php” is different than what is in the latest version of the plugin. This is probably what is causing the load issue that you’re currently seeing on the site. If you’re able to, you can update to the latest version of the plugin and this should allow it to work as expected.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello rayela,
Thanks for following up with us!
Just checked out the site again and saw that you were able to get the “Add” event added to your menu as well as make the edition of new events limited to registered users. Awesome!
As for the additional conflicts that you’re experiencing with the theme, there is one other thing we could try to see if we can get the templates to display properly on your site. By navigating to the “Display” section of your TEC settings page within your dashboard, you can try limiting the styles that are output by changing to “Full Styles”. Additionally, you can also check to see if updating the Event’s Template to “Default Page Template” fixes the major issues of missing footer and page titles.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot we can offer in support for fixing theme conflicts. If the solutions provided above don’t resolve the display issues you may need to get custom development to integrate the plugin with your theme.
I’m sorry again for the inconvenience. Hopefully the solutions suggested above will help to get the display issues resolved for your site.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello astcit,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m happy we were able to get you hooked up with the booking functionality!
I took a look at the configuration that you’ve described with the WooTickets and Follow-up Emails. Based on what you’ve described, it seems like these may be able to accomplish what you’re looking for with possibly a little bit of customization. However, it also may be a little overkill for what you’re describing.
An alternative could be to use some of the schedule events functions in WordPress to send emails based on created events end date. You can find more details on those functions here & here.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello Brent,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
You can definitely move ticket order form to a different spot on the page. More information for customizing these views can be found in our Themer’s Guide.
For the shipping and handling functionality, you’ll need to modify the “Product” associated with each of the tickets created while creating events within the dashboard. Each of the tickets becomes a WooCommerce product that can be edited under the WooCommerce settings. By default, the ticket created will be a “Virtual” product. If you uncheck that box (https://cloudup.com/chmClKdcYBx:) the default shipping options for WooCommerce will now be available for your tickets upon checkout.
I hope this helps. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
Thanks!

We are aware of several conflicts between our plugins and WPML. We will be working in the near future to make our plugins compatible with WPML, however there are some issues currently. I’m sorry for any inconvenience the incompatibility may cause.
That being the case, it does sound like the issue you’re facing is different from the ones we’ve noted in the past. Am I correct in assuming that you are referring to the backend, admin view of your site with these issues? Would you mind sending screenshots so we can see the issues that you are describing?
Thanks!

Sharing the translation for WooTickets would be awesome! Here is the forum post that shows the process for submitting translations for our plugins.
The recurring event functionality is a feature of The Events Calendar Pro. You’ll need to purchase the pro version to get the recurring events functionality.
As far as the events not displaying on the calendar with W3 active, have you tried purging or deleting the cache from within your WordPress dashboard to see if that allows the events to display? If so, there should be a setting within the plugin that allows that cache to be purged whenever a new post ( or event ) is created or updated.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello pnuiten,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry you’re having troubles getting our plugins working. Hopefully we can get this issue resolved for you quickly.
Our WooTickets plugin works in conjunction with the WooCommerce plugin. Based on the warning you’ve provided, it looks like you don’t have WooCommerce installed and activated. You’ll first need to download and activate WooCommerce from the WordPress.org repository before you can use our WooTickets plugin.
Let me know if you continue to have issues activating after installing WooCommerce.
Thanks!
September 22, 2014 at 8:13 am in reply to: X THEME | Theme Conflict Resulting in Excerpt Display #758906Josh
ParticipantHey Kyle,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
The fix for the garbled display of the main events page is caused by the section being output as an excerpt. Since this is done by the theme, there will need to be a specific solution provided to fit each theme. However, looking at your events page ( http://bottlescout.co/events ), it appears the calendar is displaying properly and not being output as part of an excerpt. I assume you found the solution you needed?
Let me know if I missed something on your site and there is a garbled view that I’m missing.
Thanks!
