ParticipantHi, I’m getting a weird issue with WooTickets that I can’t figure out. When an order is submitted the confirmation email and receipt comes through fine, and states that another email with the tickets would be sent shortly. It seems these emails containing the tickets themselves are never being sent. Does anyone have any advice on how I can figure out what is happening here?

ParticipantHello stellarblue,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I noticed in your initial comment above that you’ve stated that you’re using version 3.6 of the plugin. Are you able to update to the latest version (3.7)? When you do, does the notification issue persist?
Thanks!

ParticipantI have been struggling for hours now. I can’t get wootickets to auto process payments from Pay pal. I have added the identity token, setup IPN and still no luck. Please help!

ParticipantZwiers – please create your own support topic rather than tagging along on this one as our issues seem unrelated.
Josh – I have updated WooTickets to version 3.7 and I’m still not receiving the ticket emails (at least not within 5 minutes of receiving the order receipt)

ParticipantMy issue is related as the ticket doesn’t get sent either (due to order not being automatically processed)… maybe this is what is happening to you too? Anyways I have created my own discussion. Good luck!

ParticipantI am not sure why this worked for me but it did. Go in the Woocommerce´s options emails and change the “Email Sender Options” to “[email protected]”. Finally received my emails.

ParticipantThanks for the idea but unfortunately this did not solve my issue. I still receive the order confirmation email, but I never get the actual tickets.
Any other ideas?

ParticipantHello stellarblue,
Thanks for following up with us!
I’m sorry to hear that the update didn’t solve your email issue. There are a couple of other things that you could try.
- <span style=”line-height: 13px;”>You could try running the emails for your website through SMTP using a service like SendGrid and this plugin.
</span> - You can try following the Testing for Conflicts procedures to see if there is another conflict which may be causing the email send issue.
Hopefully this will help to get you pointed in the right direction.
Thanks!

ParticipantSo we’ve had some kind of breakthrough it seems – these ticket emails are actually being sent when the order has been marked as completed. It seems the reason they are not sent immediately is that paypal transactions are marked as “Processing” until an admin clicks complete. Is there anyway to automate this complete status when payment is received, or will an admin need to complete the orders manually?
Thanks again, we should be able to mark this as resolved once my question above is answered!

ParticipantHello stellarblue,
Thanks for following up with us. This is actually something controlled by WooCommerce. There is a great snippet here that can be added to your theme’s
functions.phpfile that will allow those orders to be autocompleted.I’ll go ahead and close this ticket for now since we’ve now deviated away from the original topic. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to open a new ticket.
Thanks!
