ParticipantHi Andrew,
Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to see if there’s maybe a conflict? I’ve heard some report recently of other plugins interfering with our license system.

ParticipantHi Vanessa,
Thanks for the praise! My suggestion would to check out some other tutorials and learn a bit of web design/development to help you learn how the header was built. Sorry, but I can’t go into specifics.
Let us know if you need any other help!

ParticipantHi Jill,
The easiest way to do it would be to add the following CSS to your theme’s style.css file:
.events-single #sidebar {
display: none;
}
I hope that helps!– Jonah

ParticipantHi Alex,
Sorry to hear about these issues. Are you still experiencing them after deactivating all other plugins and/or reverting to the Twenty Eleven/Twelve theme? Please let me know so we can rule out a plugin or theme conflict.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Tiago,
Sorry for the extremely delayed response on this thread. We have some threads marked as spam and have not been as diligent as we should in getting to them. Do you still need help with this issue? One thing to note is the importer plugin will not auto import past events before today, only new future events. Perhaps that is the issue you are experiencing?

ParticipantHi Heather,
Sorry for the delayed response in getting back to you on this. We did release a new version of the Facebook plugin last week. Have you updated to 1.0.5 and does this help with the issue you are experiencing?

ParticipantHi Lyse,
No this is a separate issue. Like I said, we only provide the interface for single events and not the main WooCommerce shop page, which is your Tickets page. This is something you will need to figure out how to customize on your own.

ParticipantSounds good Denise. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you.

ParticipantHi Kyle,
Hmmm, I’m not sure what the problem could be then. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to see if there’s maybe a conflict going on? Try that next.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi kaylesimon,
Sorry you’ve had so much trouble with the FAQ. We’re definitely looking for ways to improve the wording and code samples of all documentation and FAQ’s and will be working on overhauling much of this for our upcoming 3.0 release. In the mean time; I’ve updated the FAQ in question (https://theeventscalendar.com/faq/the-calendar-page-title-shows-title-of-an-event/) to hopefully provide a few better and clearer examples. Unfortunately it is kind of a complex topic though and we can only do so much to help people with this.
Please let me know if you have any other questions or need any other help with it.
Regards,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Joan,
Sorry for the delay on this. We’re still working on a solution for you. I should have an update for you in the next couple days.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Denise,
At this time we don’t really provide the ability to use a function or shortcode to display the calendar or list outside of the default setup. In fact, we don’t even have public functions or a shortcode to be used in this way. We do provide a query function (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/the-events-calendar-template-tags-general-functions/#functiontribe_get_events) and this will allow you to query events anywhere in your site, but you will need to format the results yourself. You can also use WP_Query and here is an example: https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/5112025
Calendar categories can all be access via a specific URL (i.e. http://yourdomain.com/events/category/festivals/) so maybe you just need to link to a specific category in your website navigation to provide access to that category. The toggle buttons to switch between list and calendar work as expected in a category, keeping you viewing only that category.
I hope this all helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

ParticipantHi Sally and claireseet, please try applying this patch which should resolve issues with the recurrence dialog. Simply replace /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/resources/events-admin.js with this copy: http://cl.ly/code/1v382M03033d
If you are still experiencing issues after the patch, please let me know.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi jkskovgaard,
We impose no restrictions on installing/activating the plugin on any site, the only restriction is with auto updates, you can only do this in one place, wherever the license is activated. So, if you have the license attached to your test site, then you would update there and then move those updated files over to the live server. You won’t be able to auto update on the live server though unless you deactivate the license for the test site and re-assign to the live site. You can do this via the Account Central > License Keys menu above.
I hope this helps but let me know if you have any other questions.
