ParticipantHi Zeke,
I installed the theme and I’m seeing the menu just fine on the calendar page and other event related pages: http://cl.ly/image/070o0b3z3z04
Perhaps there is a plugin conflict? Have you tried deactivating all other plugins?

ParticipantHi Christina,
Can I take a look at an example of what you are needing to remove? Got a link to share?

ParticipantHi Patrick,
That is really weird. You have tried deactivating all other plugins and/or reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme? It sounds like a plugin/theme conflict to me.

ParticipantHi Joost,
There are certain instances where the recurring functionality in our plugin breaks and the only way to get it working again is to delete the events and recreate. You can take a look at this thread to get some ideas of what others are experiencing: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/cannot-save-certain-recurring-events/page/3/
The issue seems to crop up when you break one event out of a recurrence set and then try to update it. I’m not sure if this is what you are experiencing or not. At any rate, we are aware of some issues with the recurrence functionality and are working hard to get them fixed in the 3.0 release coming out in early 2013. Unfortunately there is no other fix for this until then. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes and hopefully you can figure out some other work around until the new version comes out.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you.
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Kyle,
Your code looks good to me so I’m not sure why it’s not working. I’ve passed this on to another developer to see if they can help troubleshoot. Stay tuned.

ParticipantHi Darius,
This gist should do it for you: https://gist.github.com/2293961
Make a copy of /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/table-mini.php and place in an ‘events’ folder in your theme. Then replace line 127 with the code in the gist.
I hope that helps!

ParticipantHi Kyle,
So this code works for you but is wiping the event meta data?

ParticipantAwesome Darius, glad to hear you figured it out! I’m also glad to hear you’re happy about our support. We work hard to maintain a high level of responsiveness and helpfulness. If you have a moment or two we’d really appreciate a review here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar
And, about the search, we are aware of this needing improvement and are looking into some possible solutions. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

ParticipantHi Laura,
Can you paste your functions.php file to http://snippi.com/ so I can take a look at why you are getting an error?
As for the other things, these are CSS/theming issues you will need to work out on your own or hire someone to help you.
I hope that helps,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Kyle,
Did you look at our documentation for this? https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/the-events-calendar-advanced-functions-event-post-type/#functiontribe_create_event
Can you paste the full code you are working with to http://snippi.com/
Thanks,

ParticipantI’m going to close this out since there’s nothing else we can do until 3.0
Thanks all!

Jonah
ParticipantHi Chip,
Can you provide the ID of the other event you tried importing?
I’m also going to have a developer take a look at this as I’m not sure what else to do.
Thanks and stay tuned.

ParticipantHi Zeke,
If you send me a copy of your theme I can take a look. No guarantees I can get it working but I’ll try. Please email to pro [at] tri [dot] be and reference this thread and attn. to me.
Thanks,
