ParticipantOK, I think I figured it out 🙂
I was trying to import the XML file using the aggregator plugin.
It works using the native WordPress importer.
Janice Palmer
ParticipantWhen I use the native wordpress exporter, it provides a file in XML format. However, importing an XML file is not allowed for security reasons.
Thank you

ParticipantThank you!!

ParticipantAwesome!
Thank you so much.
I was curious if I could also edit this code for the other views, especially the photo view.
Would that be easy to do?
Janice Palmer
ParticipantThank you Andras
No rush, let me know when you figure it out.

ParticipantThank you 🙂

ParticipantI think we have figured out what happened here.
I renewed the plugins for $62 each ($124) on Aug-08
As you can see there was no license assigned to these plugins at the time of purchase. So on Aug-18 we started getting warnings about the license being expired, so my employee logged in and made the purchase. Instantly the warning was deactivated.
Unfortunately, we have now paid twice.
Thank you,

ParticipantThank you Brook, it was a blog-grid page-style. I had it set to display all the posts, but now it is set to display only 8 posts in the grid and it has reduced the queries a lot !!

ParticipantOK, so a couple more tweaks and I think I’ve got things under control ….
Frontend:
– reduced the number of blog posts on the News page to maximum of 8
– total number of queries reduced from 950 to 150Backend:
– reduced the number of orders displayed on the Orders tab to 5
– total number of queries reduced from 850 to 250Thank you,

ParticipantThank you!
I’ve been testing the theme and plugins, as per: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
1) There seems to be a front-end issue which was resolved when I switched to 2016 theme:
– the page with the excessive number of queries is: https://www.aoaalberta.com/news-upcoming-events/
– this is a blog-grid-style page-layout that is part of the theme (Virtue Pro) https://www.kadencethemes.com/
– there are 28 posts (and 10 private)
– deactivating the theme seems to fix the Duplicate Queries issue (on the front end)2) However, there still seems to be an issue on the back-end that I can’t get rid of:
– the Woocommerce Orders tab is generating approx 700 queries
– there are 92 orders in total
– all the Events calendar plugins are deactivated and the theme is 2016
– I can’t unplug WooCommerce to check because it’s the Woo orders tab where I see the excessive queries; so I’m thinking it must be WooCommerce causing the problemWhat do you think, would you still like to take a look or should I be talking to the WooCommerce people ?

ParticipantHere is the link to page that is generating 900+ queries:
https://www.aoaalberta.com/news-upcoming-events/I am going to remove the link from the nav-menu so noone will click on it.

ParticipantWhat you have described above is very similar to what I am trying to accomplish.
I see this now on the Attendees list; this is what I was trying to do with the Woo extension.
Thank you will take a closer look !

ParticipantThank you George, very helpful!

ParticipantOK, so now I have yet another glitch……
Tickets Plus does not support Variable products and this is the only way to get the Sequential Order numbers working; e.g. I need 2 variations (in pricing) and if variable products feature is not available, then we will end up with the tickets having the same ticket numbers; since the tickets all start with 1.
Is there any way to number the tickets using Tickets Plus ?
Thank you,
Janice
Janice Palmer
ParticipantThank you George, would I also be able to add text using the custom template file method described above?
