DermotParticipant
Thanks Courtney. I had put the API into my theme Avada but hadn’t also put it into Events. All good now 🙂
DermotParticipantThe problem Courtney is that everyone reads from left to right and the current Photo View mode is counter intuitive. I will go and post on your user voice page.
Thanks
DermotParticipantHi Jennifer,
thanks for getting back to me. I did what you said and started to import the events via the CSV option. There were 3351 events and it hung on 3320! I’ve sent an email to the developers but I don’t think it’s worked. I’ll try again when they get back to me and see if it was just a server glitch. Even though it says it’s imported 3320 events none of them are currently showing on my site which is actually a relief as I won’t have to delete them all 🙂
Cheers,
Dermot
DermotParticipantWhoops, there are actually over 3000 events 🙂 I deleted the 500 that imported when I first tried, took a while but they’re all out of the system now.
DermotParticipantHi guys,
got the refund no problem but now I don’t see any button to renew my current expired licences? Can you point me in the right direction? Do I need to buy a new business licence?
DermotParticipantHi Brook,
that would be an option if the process was simpler. I don’t know php and I found the Guide difficult to work out. All I want is for the event registration page to look like the other pages on my site and to be able to add content above it explaining what it is that people need to do.
March 29, 2016 at 10:33 pm in reply to: Event Cost not showing up when adding or editing an event #1095739DermotParticipantBrook do you mean the Events Tickets Pro as I already have Events Calendar Pro?
March 29, 2016 at 1:49 am in reply to: Event Cost not showing up when adding or editing an event #1095268DermotParticipantI just fixed it . . . by deactivating another of your plugins, event tickets. Is there a clash between the two? I have the latest versions of both installed.
DermotParticipantHunter the only thing that is different then between your set up and mine would be the number of recurring events I have which I have then cut dates out of? Is that something you have tested before? Is there a limit on how many events you can cut out of a recurring set of events?
DermotParticipantOkay, I went into settings and deselected Photo, Map and Day Views and dropped the number of events per day in Month view back from 4 to 3 and now it works??? So obviously not a theme conflict issue . . .
DermotParticipantWhat is strange is that when I try to go from March to April in Month view I just get the spinning icon but if I then select list view whilst the icon is spinning it takes me to April. I then can view it in Month view by selecting Month. I can only advance to the next month by this method. when in list view I can’t advance to the next month but have to view in Month view and then select list whilst stuck with the spinning icon.
DermotParticipantWhy would it be a theme conflict Hunter when the theme I’m using worked perfectly well with the previous version of event calendar pro?
So you don’t think that it has anything to do with pulling multiple events out of recurring events and editing them separately? That has been the only thing that has changed. I will drop back a version and see if the previous versions of Event Calendar Pro has the same issue.
DermotParticipantHi Hunter, the only plugins that I have are the ones that came with the theme Avada which is where I first came across your plugins. I’ve updated to the latest version of Events Calendar Pro that I was today and I still have the same problem. There have been a few events that I’ve pulled out of a recurring sequence to change on Monday but other than that nothing else has changed. I’ve left the plugin loaded so that you can see what I mean.
DermotParticipantAlso when I deactivate Events Calendar Pro I can then navigate to the next month.
DermotParticipantYep I did all of that and got the License updated message. I’ll try downloading and updating manually – I didn’t realise i could do that 🙂
