Google maps not showing

Hi,

for some reason Google maps aren’t working. I’ve added in the API key, specified that the domain is legit and clicked the checkbox to show maps in Events settings. I’m scratching my head here. The error is saying that I don’t have an API installed but I do?

Hey Dermot

When I view your site’s Javascript errors, I can see that the Google Map API key as not been found. Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors#Step_3:_Diagnosis

https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-your-google-maps-api-key/ has the steps to get this set up. Do note, if your theme has a spot for an API key as well, these can sometimes conflict.

Thanks Courtney. I had put the API into my theme Avada but hadn’t also put it into Events. All good now 🙂
