Licence key keeps disappearing when updating

    Hi guys,

    I keep getting a message saying that Events Calendar Pro needs to be updated but the license key isn’t there so go and add your key. I grab my key and enter it and then go to update and it tells me the same thing all over again. The Events Calendar plugin has updated fine but I can;t get the Pro plugin to update due to the disappearing licence key?? Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi,

    I’m trying to solve another issue with Events Calendar Pro however I’m experiencing this exact same issue as Dermot. My Events Calendar is currently at Version 4.0.6 whilst the Pro version is Version 4.0.5.

    Every time I enter my licence key it validates it saying it expires in 2017 yet when I leave the page a message appears at the top saying an update is available but my licence key hasn’t been entered.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

    Many times the issue is saving before a valid message is shown, so the key saves, but it is not saving that it is valid.

    Can you please confirm you are following all these steps:

    Visit License Tab
    Enter License Key
    You get a Green License Valid Message
    After you get the message you are then clicking “Save Changes”
    Then you get a “License key(s) updated.” message near the top of the page.

    Also you can can always download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and use this guide for manual updates:

    Let me know if it is not working after following those steps and we can do some troubleshooting steps next.

    Yep I did all of that and got the License updated message. I’ll try downloading and updating manually – I didn’t realise i could do that 🙂

    Sounds good.
