Event Cost not showing up when adding or editing an event

Hi,

I’ve updated t the latest version and have just noticed that the ability to add a cost for the event isn’t showing up. When the event is then created it shows the event as being free. If I try to edit an event that I previously had a price listed for, I can’t, as there is no box to do so. Am I missing something really simple here? 🙂

I just fixed it . . . by deactivating another of your plugins, event tickets. Is there a clash between the two? I have the latest versions of both installed.

Good question. There is a clash, sort of. Event Tickets purposefully hide that field in favor of its tickets fields. But, if you don’t own Plus then that certainly be limiting. Thus, hiding of the field can easily be undone by following this tutorial.

Brook do you mean the Events Tickets Pro as I already have Events Calendar Pro?

Howdy Dermot,

Sorry for not being clear. No, I meant Event Tickets Plus not Events Calendar Pro. If you have Event Tickets Plus active you will get tickets fields, where you can addle multiple price points for your event including free ones. This more sophisticated functionality then powerw the cost field, and so the cost field is hidden in favor of it.

Regardless of what products you’re running though that snippet I shared should fix things up.
