ParticipantI only noticed this, this morning When I try to navigate to the next month on my calendar all I get is the spinning icon. It never makes it to the next month. After 20 minutes I thought there must be an issue 🙂 My internet connection is fine.

ModeratorHello and welcome back 🙂
After 20 minutes I thought there must be an issue
I usually give it 30, but that’s just me 😉
Sorry to hear about the troubles! Have you tried reverting back to the default WP theme and deactivating all other plugins besides ours? Read through our Testing for conflicts article real quick to see if you can narrow down the exact cause, whether it be your theme and/or another plugin.
Thanks for posting to the forums and also for choosing PRO – have a good one!

ParticipantHi Hunter, the only plugins that I have are the ones that came with the theme Avada which is where I first came across your plugins. I’ve updated to the latest version of Events Calendar Pro that I was today and I still have the same problem. There have been a few events that I’ve pulled out of a recurring sequence to change on Monday but other than that nothing else has changed. I’ve left the plugin loaded so that you can see what I mean.

ModeratorHello and welcome back,
It sounds like you are experiencing a theme conflict – which are unfortunately outside the scope we are able to provide via support forums.
I do have some experience with Avada, so my first recommendation would be to look into the Advanced and Extra options found under Avada’s Theme Options.
I wish there was more I could do and best of luck narrowing down the conflict. Have a good one 🙂

ParticipantWhy would it be a theme conflict Hunter when the theme I’m using worked perfectly well with the previous version of event calendar pro?
So you don’t think that it has anything to do with pulling multiple events out of recurring events and editing them separately? That has been the only thing that has changed. I will drop back a version and see if the previous versions of Event Calendar Pro has the same issue.

ParticipantWhat is strange is that when I try to go from March to April in Month view I just get the spinning icon but if I then select list view whilst the icon is spinning it takes me to April. I then can view it in Month view by selecting Month. I can only advance to the next month by this method. when in list view I can’t advance to the next month but have to view in Month view and then select list whilst stuck with the spinning icon.

ParticipantOkay, I went into settings and deselected Photo, Map and Day Views and dropped the number of events per day in Month view back from 4 to 3 and now it works??? So obviously not a theme conflict issue . . .

ModeratorHi and thanks for the updates,
I just did a few tests on my local environment using the latest version of Avada and our plugins. I was unfortunately unable to reproduce the issue you’re experiencing.
When you activate the default WordPress theme, does the problem still occur? Additionally, would you mind sharing your System Information as a private reply?
If you enable wp_debug, do you get any errors displaying at the top of your website?
Lastly, we have a number of customers using the Avada theme and have not seen an influx of similar issues. This leads me to believe the issue lies within your development environment (hosting, theme, plugins, etc).
I wish I was able to provide more assistance but with all I can do is point you in the right direction. Best of luck resolving the issue and thank you for the patience exercised on your end. Have a good weekend 🙂

ParticipantHunter the only thing that is different then between your set up and mine would be the number of recurring events I have which I have then cut dates out of? Is that something you have tested before? Is there a limit on how many events you can cut out of a recurring set of events?

ModeratorHi and thanks for the response,
Would you mind sharing your System Information as a private reply?
Also, how many total events do you have listed? How many over those events are part of a recurring series?
Thanks again for the patience and I look forward to hearing back. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend.
