Participantlbeetles,
Thanks for getting in touch! You could definitely do something like this with some custom CSS styling, but unfortunately we’re unable to provide support for customizations like this. Take a look at our themer’s guide to learn how to use your own custom CSS files with the plugin.Let me know if that points you in the right direction, or if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantyearntolearn,
Thanks for getting in touch! We have a tutorial on this exact issue, that you can check out here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/changing-the-word-events-to-something-else/Give those instructions a shot and let me know if you need further help. Thanks! 🙂

Participantcshaffstall,
Thanks for getting in touch! It appears that there are two separate issues going on, so let me try to give you some help individual with each.First, on this page, I’m correctly seeing events listed in the grid view format (but only with the ?show=sessions param). It’s possible that you have a product category slug, or another post slug that is overriding your ‘calendar-events’ slug and redirecting users to the incorrect page. Could you try changing your events slug to something unique (like ‘cooking-events’) or something similar? You can do this by going to ‘Events->Settings’ and changing the values here: http://grab.by/AzHi.
Secondly, regarding the ‘Untitled’ page title displaying, it looks like you’re using a the ‘Full width’ page template in your third-party theme to display your events. I would suggest trying to switch to the ‘Default Events’ template and see if the page titles are displaying correctly there. You can do this by going to ‘Events->Settings->Display’ and changing the ‘Events Template’ selection (screenshot). If the page titles display correctly after that, then you can narrow down the issue to something specific with your ‘Full width’ page template and we can further troubleshoot from there.
Give those suggestions a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

Participantsmileadm,
Sorry that you’re running into troubles here, but hopefully I can help! It’s possible that your license key for PRO is expired, which would prevent your ability to update. To check, go to your WordPress dashboard, go to ‘Events->Settings->Licenses’ and then click ‘Save Changes’. Are you seeing that your PRO key says ‘expired’ or anything like that? If not, it’s possible that you’ll need to login with the ‘alexg’ user account and verify that the license key entered is correct.Give that a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantPossibly in either your theme’s functions.php or header.php files. Here’s the proper method to include jQuery in your theme: http://css-tricks.com/snippets/wordpress/include-jquery-in-wordpress-theme/
Make sure to replace the URL to the correct version of jQuery that you want to use. Give that a shot and let me know if that does the trick. Thanks! 🙂

Participantislwebmaster,
It looks like your theme is including jQuery twice, which I believe might be the root of the issue. I also noticed that you have several plugins activated (seeing the js files included in your page source), so I would also suggest deactivating all non-Tribe plugins to see if that resolves the issue. If so, then try reactivating them one-by-one to determine which plugin is the culprit.Give those suggestions a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks! 🙂

Participantislwebmaster,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Could you try testing for conflicts and let me know what you discover? I suspect that this might be an issue related to your theme or a plugin conflict, but want to confirm before troubleshooting further. Thanks! 🙂

Participantjlavey,
Thanks! That definitely helps to clear things up. 🙂 The easiest solution would be to add the URL to the Event Submission page to your header menu, so that users can easily find it when browsing any page of your site. Give that a shot and let me know if that does the trick. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantTK,
Unfortunately, your best bet will be to reach out to the developer of your theme and see if they can help you troubleshoot what part of the theme is conflicting. While I wish I could say that the plugin seamlessly integrates with every theme out there, the reality is that custom themes have so many settings/options that it would be nearly impossible for us to account for all of those. We’ll definitely be happy to answer any questions about how the plugin works as they troubleshot further. Thanks! 🙂

Participantjlavey,
Thanks for getting in touch! If you go to ‘Events->Settings->Community,’ you’ll see the ‘Community Rewrite Slug’ setting (screenshot). Below that text box, you should see the URL to your Event Submission page. Take a look there and let me know if you’re still not able to view your submission page. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantMartin,
Thanks for getting in touch! Yes, this is definitely possible using our Community Events add-on. This add-on will allow you to have a front-end submission form for users to post events on your site, which you can then approve before publishing.Hopefully that helps to answer your question, but let me know if I can help further. Thanks! 🙂
