Hi,
I have Community Events installed to this link (www.newmobilitywest.org/calendar) but cannot find the front-end upload option for my users. Basically I would just like to add a link on the calendar page to the Community Events upload form. I have zero coding ability so any help in layman’s terms much appreciated.jlavey,
Thanks for getting in touch! If you go to ‘Events->Settings->Community,’ you’ll see the ‘Community Rewrite Slug’ setting (screenshot). Below that text box, you should see the URL to your Event Submission page. Take a look there and let me know if you’re still not able to view your submission page. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-
Sorry, I don’t think my question was clear. May I try again? I can see and access the community submission page, but I can’t get the link to appear on the front end of my site at the URL I referenced. So for example, if you personally went to http://www.newmobilitywest.org/calendar, you should have the ability to post an event (b/c I have it set to anonymous can post). But there is no way to get from the calendar to the submission form because I can’t figure out how to get the submission link to appear on the calendar page. Another for example: The demonstration on your site (http://wpshindig.com/events/) has a link in the upper left hand corner called “ADD YOUR EVENT”. I have no such link.

Thanks! That definitely helps to clear things up. 🙂 The easiest solution would be to add the URL to the Event Submission page to your header menu, so that users can easily find it when browsing any page of your site. Give that a shot and let me know if that does the trick. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-
