ParticipantAlways happy to help Robert. I’ll close this thread out, but feel free to start a new thread if you have other issues. Thanks for using the plugin!

ParticipantRobert,
Thanks for the info. I would definitely recommend reaching out to the developer of your theme. Unfortunately, we cannot provide support for custom themes, but we’ll be happy to work with the developer of your theme if they identify any issues with any of our plugins. You can read more about our theme support policy here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/read-this-an-important-note-on-plugintheme-deactivation/
Please let me know if there’s anything else that I can help out with. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantRobert,
You should be able to go to ‘Appearance->Themes’ and switch your theme there. You can then switch back to your custom theme after testing the page display on the default theme. Let me know if that helps.Casey
ParticipantRobert,
Have you tried deactivating all plugins, and changing to the default 2012 theme? I’ve never seen this issue before, so I’m just trying to determine if there’s a conflict with your theme or plugins before we further troubleshoot.Give that a try, and let me know what the result is. Thanks.
Casey
ParticipantNoel,
Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Unless you disagree, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.We really appreciate your support and please let us know if you need anything else in the future. If you find yourself with a few minutes and would be so kind as to give us a “Works” rating or a positive star voting on the WordPress.org repo (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/), or even a shoutout to your followers on Facebook or Twitter, it would mean a lot to us. Thanks again for using the plugin!

ParticipantBradley,
Thanks for getting in touch. We already have some limited spam protection on the form using this checkbox: http://d.pr/i/utNeUsers who are not logged in will see that checkbox when viewing the form. We hope to eventually add some more spam fighting functionality in a future release, but don’t have any specific information on when that might be available.
I hope that helps! Just let me know if you have further questions.
Casey
ParticipantNoel,
Thanks for reaching out! You should be able to hide this row by adding the following to your theme’s stylesheet:
.recurrence-row {display:none !important;}
Let me know if that does the trick. Thanks!

ParticipantMark,
Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately there’s not a simple way to do this that I know of. I’m going to pass this request on to our developers to see if they have any suggestions. Please stand by.Casey

ParticipantDaniella,
Unfortunately there’s no page template you can edit to make this happen. However, you can add the following code to your theme’s function.php file to change the message that displays:https://gist.github.com/4710274
Please let me know if that does the trick for you. Thanks!

ParticipantLyne,
What version of Community and EC Pro are you running? Take a look at this post and see if Rob’s suggestion of upgrading to the latest version of Events Calendar (2.0.11) and Community (1.0.5) fix your issue.Let me know if that doesn’t do it. Thanks!

ParticipantJessica,
Unfortunately we can’t support all custom themes, as we just don’t have the support resources for this. I would suggest reaching out to the developer of your theme to see if they can provide some insight into why the theme isn’t displaying correctly. We’ll definitely work with the developer as needed if there are any issues we need to address in the plugin.
Just let us know what you find and if you need further help. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantLyne,
Sorry, but unfortunately not. The only other option would be to enable anonymous submissions, so that no one would be notified. You might also consider reaching out to the plugin developer to see if there’s a way that you can limit the emails to be sent only to one address.Hope that helps!
