    Dimitris,
Thanks for reaching out and hopefully I can help you out here.

When viewing your Event Submission page (http://www.ikidbookstore.com/events/community/add), I’m not seeing any saved Venues or Organizers in the dropdowns. Does this issue also happen when the user enters in a new Organizer/Venue?

Great! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it sounds like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.

By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5

    Thanks in advance. 🙂

    Cheers,

Go to Events->Settings->Default Content and tell me what is selected for the Default Organizer field. It should look like this: http://d.pr/i/XduQ

    Columinate,
Were you able to resolve this issue? I’m seeing your desired functionality when viewing the Event Submission form in the 2013 theme: http://co-luminate.com/test/events/community/add/

Can you allow non-logged in users to submit events in the test environment so I can take a closer look? Thanks!

Great! No, that shouldn’t affect any of the changes if you purchase pro.

Glad to hear that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set on this one, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear that you’re having this issue. Have you tried reverting to the default 2013 or 2014 theme to see if this issue still persists?

I’m noticing some “display:none;” style rules on each of those table rows, so I suspect this is something that is being added by your theme or by a plugin.

Give that a try and let me know what you discover. Thanks!

    Ok, this is fixed! http://nhap.org/events/

Let me know if that does the trick for you. 🙂

    Bamforp,
That’s because it’s using your overridden default events template in your child theme. Just delete that other file (don’t ‘delete default-template-community.php’) and it should fix it.

    Cian,
Yes, this is definitely possible. You’ll want to perform a template override by copying all files/folders in ‘wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/views’ to a new directory named ‘tribe-events’ in your theme directory.

After copying all of those files, open up the following: ‘YOUR_THEME_DIR/tribe-events/commmunity/modules/organizer.php’.

That’s where all of the code for displaying the organizer fields resides, and where you’ll make your customizations.

Actually making the customizations for you is beyond the scope of our support, but this should get you pointed in the right direction.

Just let me know if you have further questions! Thanks!

    Bamforp,
Ok, I was able to login and resolve this issue for you. I created (and modified to work with Community) a new template in tribe-events called ‘default-template-community.php’ and also modified the code snippet in your functions.php file to point to ‘tribe-events/default-template-community.php’.

I’m now seeing the Blue sidebar on your Community pages: http://nhap.org/events/supporters/add

Take a look and let me know if that does trick!

    Sitelockdesign,
Would you mind starting a new thread with your issue, so we can track it there? Thanks!

Those FTP credentials aren’t working for me for some reason.

Yes, if you can send me a private reply with admin access and FTP access to your site, I’ll take a closer look. Thanks!
