Participantintegrity,
There must be something else that’s conflicting with this role’s capabilities, because I’m able to add Venues/Organizers with the permissions I showed you (screenshot). Have you tried deactivating your other plugins to see if there’s a conflict somewhere? Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantreshetramah,
I see. In that case, you should be able to change your CSS to the following:
.events-archive #main {
width: 100% !important;
}
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantThanks for getting in touch! Hopefully I can help you out here. Try adding the following to your theme’s stylesheet and see if that does the trick:
.tribe-theme-child-hustle-child #main {
width: 100% !important;
}
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantMartin,
Our free version of The Events Calendar only has a limited Event List widget, while our PRO version offers a Calendar-grid widget and an advanced Event List widget. Take a look at all of the features of our PRO version here: https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/ Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantloakine,
Thanks for getting in touch! Hopefully I can help you out here. Are you talking about editing an event as an admin, or as a regular user? If you’re logged in as an admin, you can edit events via the WordPress dashboard by going to ‘Events’.Unfortunately, regular users can only edit ‘Future’ events from their Events List. If this is functionality you’re wanting to see in a future release of the add-on, please feel free to propose it on our User Voice page. Hope that helps! Thanks! 🙂

Participantlmilesw,
Yes! You can control this by going to ‘Events->Settings->Default Content’ and selecting the appropriate values in the ‘Address’ section (screenshot). Try that and see if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantJonathan,
Thanks for getting in touch! Yes, you can hide the Organizer/Venue dropdowns, but unfortunately the form will treat any future submissions as new Organizers/Venues. If you want to hide these dropdowns, take a look at this thread.Regarding avoiding duplicate entries, unfortunately we don’t currently support anything like that, but it’s a great idea! Feel free to submit it as a feature request on our UserVoice page to be considered for inclusion in a future release.
One thing that might help would be to display some instructions at the top of your form, instructing users to select existing Organizers/Venues before entering new ones. You can do this using this tutorial.
Hope that helps! Thanks! 🙂

Participantlmilesw,
Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. I’ll go ahead and answer your second question in the new thread you created. Since it looks like you’re all set here, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5
Thanks in advance. 🙂
Cheers,

Participantintegrity,
Thanks for getting in touch. Not sure what’s going on with your plugin, but when I edit the ‘Contributor’ role and give it these capabilities, then I’m able to login as that user and edit events. Have you tried using a third-party plugin for managing roles? My personal favorite is Members. You might try using something like that instead of a custom plugin, and see if that fixes things.Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantJeff,
Thanks for reaching out! Actually, our WooCommerce Tickets option would be a great option for purchasing tickets using Authorize.net. You’ll have to install and configure WooCommerce on your client’s site, along with purchasing one of the Authorize.net Payment Gateway add-ons.Hopefully that helps to answer your question. Thanks! 🙂

Participantsitelockdesign,
You can comment out Javascript by putting a // at the beginning of the line you want to comment. Take a look at this article, which will explain a bit further. Give that a shot and let me know if it does the trick. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantsbhamby,
Could you try deactivating all other plugins to check for a conflict? If that fixes the issue, then please re-activate them one-by-one to determine the culprit. Give that a shot and let me know the outcome. Thanks!-Casey-

ParticipantYou might also try clearing your cache to see if that does the trick. Just let me know if you need further help here. Thanks!
