Thanks Andras!
July 19, 2017 at 12:30 am in reply to: Recurring event – excluded days still populated in calendar #1323133Caroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantWow, big disappointment. I only renewed the plugin in order to use this feature. And now after wasting time and money trying to get it working I will need to look for another events plugin.
How do I go about getting a refund?
July 17, 2017 at 6:01 am in reply to: Recurring event – excluded days still populated in calendar #1322064Caroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantThanks Jennifer. I have renewed the plugin but still having issues.
Here are my settings:
https://monosnap.com/file/P48pIIHKaUGugXOcrdKRmdPjIXx6Qo.pngFor which I would expect the event to show up in the calendar on days 11, 12 and 13 of August 2006. However the event only shows up on day 11:

We have not manually imported any events.
Caroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantThat’s right, the problem is definitely happening on my test install (not sure why it didn’t before, or if I just got confused). I don’t have access to my local installation to check that one today.

September 3, 2015 at 8:33 am in reply to: Slider not loading on Previous events – js function I can use? #1001646Caroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantThanks Nico, but I want the slider to site in the event list and the slider code is loaded via the RoyalSlider plugin so I’m not sure how to change how the slider is initiated.
I have contacted Royalsider support.
Thanks again.
August 17, 2015 at 9:59 am in reply to: Help updating to 3.11 required – events lists and calendars not displaying #996642Caroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantThanks Geoff, you had it. For some reason in Settings > Display the ‘Default Page Template’ was selected.
Caroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantThanks George.
I just opened up my local version (exact copy of live in terms of plugins and theme) and the events are not being duplicated.
On my test install, using twentyfifteen, most of the same plugins are already active (and have been for weeks). As you suggest, I will try and activate the other plugins one at a time to see if the problem appears on the test version.
Caroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantHi Derek,
Sounds like we have the same issue! Are you using any of the following plugins?:
Advanced Custom Fields Pro
Autolink URI
BackUpWordPress Backup Plugin
Enable Media Replace
Event Rocket
External Links
Google Analytics by Yoast
Members
mobble
Quick Page/Post Redirect Plugin
Responsive Lightbox
Simple Custom Post Order
The Events Calendar
The Events Calendar: Facebook Events
The Events Calendar PRO
Wordfence Security
Wufoo Shortcode PluginCaroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantHi George,
Unfortunately, this will take much more than a few minutes as the problem does not occur at the moment the event is created. Instead, some time after the event is created in facebook, it is getting imported over and over again.
Has no other customer had a similar problem? Do you think it could be a serve connectivity issue?
Thanks
CarolineCaroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantP.s. I am getting ‘504 Gateway Time-out’ errors every now and then when using WordPress. Could it be a connectivity issue that leads to the duplicate events?
Thanks
CarolineCaroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantThanks Brian.
So the problem is with timezone on Facebook, as it was set by Facebook automatically when I chose the location. I tried UTC+13 in WordPress, it works the same as before. UTC+12 (which is wrong, but matches Facebook) imports at the right time.
I guess I will leave as UTC+12 for now.
Lastly, regarding the sync, I understand a live sync depends on the API. But what about a button that permanently deletes the event from WordPress, and then reimports it from Facebook? This is what we are currently doing manually. It works but is a pain. And if we forget to permanently delete the event from the trash, the URL changes and our Facebook like/share counts are lost.
Caroline Elisa HaggertyParticipantThe event link: https://www.facebook.com/events/1581800475437012
Don’t have access to change time zone and delete and reimport event right now to test.
BTW, any plans to allow for syncing/updating Facebook events? Seems crucial, and I assumed was a default feature when I purchased.
