Agreed it is not the way it should be. We do have a fix coming in the next release in a couple weeks so after that it should not be a problem.

    Hello,

Since Events are WordPress Custom Posts can you use the Visibility setting of private on the events you would like to hide?

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Content_Visibility

That will hide the events for unregistered users and show for registered users that can view private events.

You may have to change some role settings to get that to work using a plugin such as Role Manager or Members.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having with the Events Admin Panel.

I found something that might help.

Can you add this snippet to your theme’s function.php:

    https://gist.github.com/jazbek/6585714

There maybe a join limit set by your host that is causing this issue.

Let me know if that works.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I can help out with this.

That topic is in reference to the backend of the site when create events.

Is that what you are talking about? Or is this on the Front End? On the search bar on this page:

    http://www.eastlife.ooh-websites.co.uk/events/

Let me know and we can figure this out.

    Thanks

That text is using the translation functions of WordPress.

So you could modify this snippet and add it to your functions.php to just change that text.

    https://gist.github.com/jesseeproductions/3e99e93e41f05a72cf6c

You will want to change this:

    $domain, ‘tribe-events-calendar’

    to this:

    $domain, ‘tribe-events-filter-view’

Then just change the search for text and what you would like to replace it with following the comments in the snippet.

This should get you close, but you might have to play around with it to get it to work.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having.

I took a look at the site and see what you mean. You can try our Testing for Conflicts Guide:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/

Or since the Add to Cart Process is all controlled by WooCommerce you may want to start with these two resources and see if any of the information applies to your site.

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-woocommerce-cart-brokennot-adding-products

    http://develop.woothemes.com/woocommerce/2014/02/solving-common-issues-after-updating-to-woocommerce-2-1/#variable-add-to-cart

Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Sorry for the compatibility issue with the Waitlist Plugin.

It is beyond the support we can provide to resolve an issue such as this with a 3rd party plugin.

I can leave this ticket open for a couple weeks and someone maybe to reach out to you through it and try to help out.

There is not much more we can do besides that.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I read through you message and not sure what the issue is.

So, are you talking about this page as the default home page:

    http://onin.melbourne/events/

On that page it is showing you the Photo View, which is the default view you have selected on this page of your admin:

Events > Settings > Display Tab

When you click on this link from your front end navigation:

    Events -> Upcoming Events (http://onin.melbourne/events/list/)

That is showing the List View as it is directly linking to the list view.

So not sure what the issue is, but if you can provide more information I can try to help out.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in Facebook Events Importer.

    Yes the plugin does work.

    – If I import events, can I edit?

The importing process creates an event on your site independent of Facebook so you can make all the edits you would like.

    – When I edit and event, if I re-import events, the edited events will be overwrited?

It will no reimport an event that has already been imported unless you delete the event from your site. It does not overwrite or sync existing events.

I would recommend checking out this page to see how all the features work:

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
