MemberI’ll check with Casey: while posting code directly won’t work very well you should still be able to post a link to any code hosted on Pastebin or a similar service.
But let me check in with the team and see where this email is.

MemberOK, so the way it looks to me is that the page.php template is indeed being used, just as it is with a default theme such as Twenty Twelve.
However, other plugin/theme code may mistakenly believe that a single post has been loaded – this looks like it is a result of the way in which Community Events works and how it channels requests to that template (though I’d need to check in with a team member to confirm this).
What I’d suggest looking into as a workaround is setting up Community Events using a shortcode-based approach (and place those shortcodes on an actual page). There is an overview of this on the Community Events new user primer and it may prevent this ‘conflict’.

MemberHi braveheart: I’m not sure which thread you are referring to – can you provide a link or else create a new thread?

MemberHi Adrian,
It doesn’t seem to show up for me for users of the editor role or below. I see you noted that you tried deactivating all other plugins and reverting to a default theme, but is there anything else that might be different on your site?
Have you edited any user roles/capabilities for instance, even if you then deactivated the plugin you used to do that?
Barry
MemberHi Andrea, you could try adding a snippet like this one (to your theme’s functions.php file for instance) and see if that works for you.

MemberHi John,
I can see a Javascript error when I try to navigate forwards/backwards on your calendar – this is typically caused by a conflict with other code. Although you may not have updated The Events Calendar perhaps this arose from an update to your theme or another plugin?
If you could try running through our standard troubleshooting steps that would be great:
- Please ensure that your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date and in-synch … for instance if you are using The Events Calendar 2.0.11 you must also use Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11
- Deactivate all other plugins and change your theme to a default, unmodified one such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve
- Now test to see if the problem still exists
- If the problem has been solved by these steps, start reactivating everything one-at-a-time, testing at each point to see if the issue has returned
- If the issue does return, take note of whichever plugin (or theme) you reactivated immediately before it started again – it’s likely there is a conflict with this item

MemberHi Shawn,
I’ll alert Rob and Leah to your email – it’s possible it got trapped in a spam filter or it may simply be that they haven’t had time to reply yet (we don’t typically provide weekend coverage, so if it was sent on Thursday/Friday last week that’s a possibility).
If you can you confirm what email address you used to send the email (please use our private reply facility to tell me this) that would be great – the team can then get back to you by email, as we don’t support beta code here on the forum.

Member(A third option – editing the core files directly – is possible though we wouldn’t really recommend it. If you want to do that you could edit events-calendar-pro/lib/widget-list.class.php around line 70.)

MemberHi Christina –
That aspect of the widget isn’t easily configurable and so you would either need to create an English-language translation of ‘View All Events’ (a good overview of the basics involved in that process can be found here) or else build a new widget to replace it.
Barry
MemberHi – and sorry for the delay. Can you try adding this piece of code to your theme’s functions.php file and see if that does the trick here?
Barry
MemberGood stuff – and props to George there. I’ll go ahead and close this thread since it seems we’re all sorted here.
Barry
MemberThanks for sharing Titus:-) – Christina hopefully that gives you a steer in the right direction.
Just a note for future reference, until we go live with our next set of changes to the forum at least, but it is generally better to use a service like Pastebin or Gist to share code and then paste the link in here – currently the tri.be forum doesn’t handle code too nicely and some elements may be dropped.
Barry
MemberHi rcstribe – I can see that and will look into it – just for future reference though it would be massively appreciated if you could create new threads for new issues.
