MemberI’m unsure why it isn’t working for you – can you share your complete theme functions.php file via Pastebin/Gist so I can see where you added this?
@Graeme: are you having the same problem?August 7, 2013 at 11:48 am in reply to: Mini Calendar – default display month as that of next upcoming event #59351Barry
MemberHi manelequinocci – can you point me to a URL where I can see the minicalendar widget in use?
Barry
MemberHi wwa, just following up on this one – what are your thoughts on the above?
Will you be able to workaround this or else can you confirm the result of the troubleshooting steps specifically in relation to the problem you see when logging in with your own account?

MemberNo problem – it’s a great question. Can you try adding this code to your theme’s functions.php file (or any other suitable place if you prefer) and see if that helps out here?

MemberHi Graeme – sorry first of all for the extended delay. We’ve been inundated with support requests recently and that has unfortunately slowed us down a bit on the support front.
Let me check into this and I’ll get back to you shortly.

MemberHi egipsonk2sicom – thanks for posting back with the solution – can I just confirm that you’re all good here? (Apologies also for the delay, we’ve had higher than normal demand for support over the last few weeks.)

MemberHi Joshua,
Sorry for the delay first of all.
That’s definitely strange, can you indicate what theme you are using/which theme it is based on (if it’s a customization of an existing one)?

MemberSorry for the delay first of all – we’ve been somewhat swamped recently but should be able to respond a little more quickly going forward.
Can you try adding the following snippet of CSS:
.single-tribe_events .tribe-events-event-meta { background: #3a4a52; border: 1px solid #4a5a62; }(Please see our Themer’s Guide for details of using tribe-events.css to add things like this.)
Does that help?
Barry
MemberHi Paul,
Sorry for the delay first of all – we’ve had a huge amount of support requests recently and that’s slowed us down a touch.
I’m afraid though this is isn’t really the sort of customization we can help with. Venue pages should show upcoming events by default – if you want to change this so they display in calendar format that’s probably possible and there are a few different ways you might approach it, but I’m afraid you’d need to figure out the details yourself for something like this.

MemberWould something like this (you could drop it into your theme’s functions.php file for instance) work for you?
Barry
MemberExcellent, thanks for working through that with us – and good luck with the project 🙂

MemberFrom our developer Jessica: if you add this code to your theme’s functions.php file that should (hopefully) resolve this until our next release arrives.
Do note that the lines in that snippet with <?php and ?> in most cases should not be copied across to your functions.php file.

Member@tomtolkien: you’re definitely more than welcome to monitor this but please do create your own thread (to avoid confusion in case it’s actually a separate underlying problem, or in case any possible fix for dgallek does not translate to your own installation).
@dgallek: did the update resolve this in your case/do you require further support here? -
