AdamParticipant
Hi, I’m using Event Tickets Plus and Woocommerce – I’m not quite sure what EDD tickets are. Hopefully my site is connected to your support system so it gives you a bit more info.
I have exported Tickets, Attendees and Orders only – is that all I need to export?
AdamParticipantHi there, no the list view is currently hidden as I have events on sale and I don’t want quantity remaining to be seen. Quantity remaining only shows in list view (you can see my event calendar by clicking on the events tab though).
AdamParticipantI’ve tried adding a custom status, which I’ve called “Tickets Resent”, changing to it, and then changing back to Order Completed, but it only resends the customer confirmation email, not the Event ticket.
I also have Completed and Tickets Resent checked in Events > Settings > Tickets > Woocommerce Support.AdamParticipantHi Jennifer,
I’ve found a way to do it. You add the ticket, and then edit the product in Woocommerce so its visibility is “hidden”.
I make the ticket full price, and then discount the full amount when I create orders for the Guest list. This alleviates the Min/Max problem, and shows Guests the full value of the ticket.
Would there be the possibility to please include something along the lines of “Hide This Ticket” as a check-box in the ETP plugin? This way we don’t need to temporarily publish the ticket in order to then hide it.
AdamParticipantTried again and it worked. Final thing before I close the ticket: Although I cloned what was on my live site over to my staging server, the QR codes are different between them (security code is the same). Is this because the sites’ web addresses are different?
Before I move all the changes over to the live server, I want to make sure that old barcodes that customers already have will still work.
Thanks again,
Adam
PS For those that can’t get QR codes to appear on PDFs (but can get their other pictures), I couldn’t find a lot in the forums – only about installing php graphic drivers but nothing to explain much more than that.
I have PHP ~7.0 and admin access – I eventually fixed by doing:
apt-get install phpqrcode
Just in case it helps anyoneAdamParticipantFor anyone that may follow this thread in future or is having similar problems, my custom post type is incompatible with Event Tickets Plus because it shares many similar slugs – fair enough.
Thanks Geoff,
I am on my staging server moving my live events over from my old custom post type (non-tribe event) to a tribe event type (events calendar plus), using the “Post Type Switcher” plugin. So far so good, I can view anyone’s tickets, the only thing that doesn’t seem to be working is the QR code when printed to PDF (see attached image, ignore the black squares as I’ve put them there myself)
I’m not 100% sure how QR codes work, but want to confirm that when I make the transition, the old QR codes that were emailed to customers previously will still work. I’m not sure this is something I can test myself, as the links that the QR codes redirect to on my staging server are different addresses than the live site.
The QR codes are showing fine when I view the tickets, but appearing as with attached image when I view PDF ticket. I should also note that the event featured image isn’t showing on the PDF either, so hopefully not a complicated fix.
Thanks again,
Adam

AdamParticipantHey there, and thanks Jennifer. We don’t want people seeing that some tickets were free – we only want people to see the range of the paid tickets (eg $10-$20). I suppose when you think of any major event, some people undoubtedly get free tickets, but the general public wouldn’t see that on the ticket ordering page – they only see the minimum price the ticket was sold for to the general public. Thanks again and will speak soon.
AdamParticipantOh – that’s right. I removed the DK PDF because people were complaining the “Download a PDF copy of this ticket.” button wasn’t working when their emails arrived. I can perhaps disable the plugin – feel free to activate when you are troubleshooting the problem.
