The Events Calendar 4.9.2 and Events Calendar Pro 4.7.2

Today’s Maintenance Release focuses on The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro, featuring a fix for an issue that prevented the keyword and location searches from working in the Tribe Bar unless a date had been selected.

The Events Calendar 4.9.2

  • Fix – Ensure keyword and location searches in the Tribe Bar always work, even without a date being selected
  • Fix – Make backwards-compatibility handling more robust when dealing with classes that do not exist in the older plugin versions
  • Fix – Correct position of arg in filter_var function of email validation in Validate.php (thanks for flagging this @dharmin)
  • Tweak – Filter the event creation meta before checking it for coherency in the Event Repository class
  • Tweak – Reduce file size by removing .po files and directing anyone creating or editing local translations to translate.wordpress.org
  • Tweak – Optimize the autoloader function to eliminate duplicate path checking

Events Calendar Pro 4.7.2

  • Fix – Make sure Map view initial state is consistent no matter the API key used
  • Fix – Make sure latitude and longitude are correctly parsed in Map view
