It seems like it was just yesterday that we were celebrating 2 million downloads of The Events Calendar on WordPress.org. In just 6 short months, we’re already closing in on our next milestone – 3 MILLION downloads!

Internally, our team has already started placing guesses on when we’ll hit the big 3 million download mark. To make it a real party, we’re inviting you to play along.

3 Million Downloads Giveaway

As of this morning, The Events Calendar has just over 2.9 million downloads.

To celebrate our approach towards 3 million, we’re launching a giveaway to thank our users who have awesomely supported us along the way. Up for grabs are some sweet prizes, including product coupons and free premium plugin licenses from yours truly.

Entering is as easy as tweeting out your guess for what date we’ll hit 3 million downloads and including the hashtag #3MillionContest along with our Twitter handle @TheEventsCal.

Prizes & Winners

We’ll draw winners randomly once we pass the 3 million download mark as reported by WordPress.org. Prizes will include at least a few coupons and free licenses, but we’re keeping the exact details a secret.
