ParticipantHello Victor – thanks for your help. I managed to get my web guy to change some code in order to remove this feature.
Please coudl you feedback to Modern Tribe that having the Attendee List publically visible on events is not a good feature – I don’t want people to see how many tickets I have sold for an event. It would be great if they could remove this or make it optional in future editions.
Thanks,
James

ParticipantThanks John for sharing that. I don’t have any idea what css is, but I’ll look into it and post back if it resolves the issue.
I still think modern tribe should make this an easy click on or off function though as standard.

ParticipantHi John,
Thanks for making that point. You’re right – it should be optional only. The plugin developers should change this right away.

ParticipantHello,
I was about to ask this very same question. I also want to remove the stock of tickets from being visible by the public. This didn’t happen when I had the WooTickets plugin, and has only appeared now that I’ve changed to Events Tickets Plus.
How can I remove it please?I feel this is very important as I don’t want to display to my customers what stock I have. This display should be optional.
Please see the attached screenshot to see how it appears on my website currently.
Thanks

ParticipantThanks for that advice. I can see that the problem lay with my Mac which automatically unzipped the folder. SO I had to right-click on the folder to compress it again, turning it back to a zip file. Now the installation has worked fine.

ParticipantHello Geoff,
Thanks for the link, it’s got part way to helping, however it still does not tell me which file within the Event Tickets Plus folder I need to install on the backend of my website in order to upload the plug in.
The read me files says I should be installing a zip file but all I see are php files.Could you advise please?

ParticipantHello,
I had this problem a while back too and was told by the guy who fixed it that the issue lay with paypal not talking to woo commerce, so sales weren’t registering. Might be worth looking into. It was a right pain.

ParticipantAlso – some basic questions, but these are not answered anywhere I can see:
1. Do I need to deactivate WooTickets before or after installing Event Tickets Plus?
2. I have several events currently running with tickets being sold – will changing over to Events Tickets Plus affect these? Thanks again.

ParticipantHello Geoff,
Thanks for getting back o me and giving me a solution… however I have no idea how to get to the inside of the plug in so that I can edit it. I’m not technically minded myself. Would you mind explaining this part in more detail please?
Thanks,
James

ParticipantHello Brian,
Thanks for getting back to me quickly. I’ve just run a test ticket purchase via paypal and here’s what happened:
1. Buyer received email from [email protected] with receipt of payment.
2. Seller received two emails ‘new customer order’ and ‘notification of payment received via paypal’
3. Order is listed as ‘processing’ in website’s dashboard
4. Seller checked his paypal account and can see the payment has been completed.
5. Seller marked the order as ‘complete’ in website dashboard
6. Buyer received no further email from paypal of website. No e-ticket received. This was 1 hour after payment had been made.
7. Seller checked the attendees list for the event and the buyer is listed there as a complete order.I’ve noticed that someone else is having this problem also today, his name is Robert.
Please advise where we can go from here.

ParticipantThe Event Rocket plug in works fine. It’s added the option to ‘duplicate’ any event on the dashboard.
Thanks for the tip – most appreciated.James Kendall
ParticipantHello Fridolin,
Thank you for suggesting that, I’ll give it a try and post back here if it works so others know it’s a viable solution.

ParticipantThanks for the swift reply George, much appreciated.
I feel this really should be an option for the programme as it seems fairly simple and would be very useful. Also ‘Events Manager’ has it as part of their free package. Just saying.
Please pass this idea onto the relevant people.
Thanks again,

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Thanks for looking into this – it is puzzling.
I’ve now had to issue over £100 of refunded tickets and send various apologies out to customers – not a fun experience.
I’ll create a test event and ticket and see if i can create the same issue again.
What I’ve been doing in the meantime to ensure that the problem doesn’t happen again is that when I have sold out of a ticet i have then deleted the product from the event page. problem is then it is deleted from the back end and I can’t view reports on the product – which is quite frustrating.
I’ll test this again tomorrow and let you know what the result was.
Let me know if you find anything.

ParticipantHi Brian,
Thanks for that. I’ll give it a try and if it’s still faulty I’ll be back in touch.]
Kind regards,
