ParticipantIf it is of any use @SUSAN, I ended up doing away with the photo view page for now and using the Grid plugin that comes bundled with X, simply made a grid of events and put it on a page. Not ideal but was better than what was there.

Participant@drickard – you are not alone! This has been around for a while – I have raised another thread to hopefully get a fix soon as it just looks yuk 🙁
Paul
ParticipantSame issue here… at the moment it seems one big issue gets fixed then another one occurs 🙁
Paul
ParticipantThank you @George – I can confirm that the featured images are once again coming through from Facebook, and the scheduled imports all seem to be working now 🙂
Thanks you team at Tribe and sorry for getting a bit grumpy – we’re right in the thick of ‘events season’ here so the timing was unfortunate; but, as said, it is working now for me so all is well again!
Paul
ParticipantHi Tribe team. Any news on this? I have a backlog of events I need to post and all seems to have gone quiet on this issue?
@jskk123 asked if there was an earlier version of the plugin a few days ago and there has been no response? This is a pretty big deal folks – I am surprised there has been no communication for days about it?
Paul
ParticipantYeah – a bit disappointing that the latest update didn’t fix the featured image bug – I don’t understand how this has happened – I can see posts from last year where the same thing happened and it was fixed – now its crawled back into the system again!
I didn’t notice that my scheduled imports weren’t working properly either, thanks for pointing that out everyone else!
Its Friday here – 3 hours to knock off – just spent 2 hours manually bringing in images. I am really hoping that when I get back on Monday its fixed up guys – this is a real killer!

ParticipantI would like to second this. The images were importing fine until your last release, now they’ve stopped. This has happened before, you guys fixed it somehow (it was a while back). Currently I have to go to each event and manually copy the images off Facebook or wherever and upload them.
Paul
ParticipantThanks @Hunter – I will wait for the maintenance release – appreciate the prompt response!
Cheers
Paul
ParticipantThanks for your offer of help @Hunter, but I don’t wish to waste your time on this pretty bespoke setup – I mainly chucked it out there just in case someone else comes across it or someone else had encountered it!
Keep up the great work and just to let you know, and others considering this plugin, that yes it does work in a real-world environment, it is a massive time-saver, and the support from tribe is excellent.
Thanks guys!

ParticipantHave always had this issue with this plugin – I think its some kind of conflict between the theme and the plugin. Anyway, the fix I have for now is to use the plugin Force Regenerate Thumbnails. So afetr every import, I open the media library and regenerate the ones that have just come in – then they’re fine. Not ideal, but it works for now, is relatively quick, and saves me having to hunt down the problem!
Paul
ParticipantHey Nico – 51 pages. Cheers
Paul
ParticipantWas having exactly the same problem @guidegirl. Interestingly, this began in the last few days (I have seen some other people on here raising the same issue).
I have extended max_execution_time and max_input_time and this appears to have resolved it at the moment.
