    Hi Carsten,

    I’m just a user, and no expert so please take this for what it’s worth. The same problem occurred for us after the update. We found that the Events Calendar Pro plug-in was deactivated after the update (The Events Calendar reactivated automatically, but not the Pro plug-in). After activating Pro, and then re-adding the Events Calendar widget to our sidebar we were back in business! Hope this is of some help.

    Thanks for the reply, Barry.
    When you said the view looked fully populated for you, I change to another browser (IE) and could see the events. So, I realized I needed to clear the history in Firefox. Went back and did that, and the events display. Please accept my apologies for not doing this first – my only excuse is this was a “freak out” event for me!
    I am having another serious issue (I cannot advance to the next or previous month, week, etc. in any view), but will start another thread about that.

    I actually don’t want to delete ALL instances of recurring events. I want to delete ONE instance/date only.
    Now I have to go through a messier process than before, where this could be done from the events list just by clicking on Trash and selecting ‘this event only’. Now, that option does not pop up at all so, clicking on Trash instantly deletes ALL recurring events in the series immediately – without any option. So, in fact, I CAN delete all instances of a recurring event series from the events list by simply clicking Trash.

    Jonah, can you please permanently delete my “private” post above? I don’t trust that the plug in you are using will not break again.

    I’m gun-shy about sending more credentials. However, I did stumble on a clumsy work-around. If you Edit the instance of a recurring event you wish to delete (just change one thing – I deleted the $ sign from the cost field, for instance) and then click on Update you will get the pop up asking whether this should apply to the whole series or just this event. If you click on just this event this instance of the series will now appear on the events list as a No Recurring event. You can now trash it and the rest of the original recurring series remains intact.

    My original problem remains: if I click on trash in the events list to remove one of a recurring series, no popup asking whether this applies to the whole series or just this one appears. The whole series is immediately trashed.

    I’m having the same problem. Didn’t I read somewhere that it is CRITICAL that both Events Calendar & The Events Calendar Pro have the exact same version number? Could this be the root of all our evil?

    Jonah – I have deleted the admin credentials. There is just no excuse for others being able to see my confidential information in this forum. I am seriously upset about this. How can I get some real, secure help with this problem?

    Hi Jonah,
    Yes I did deactivate all other plugins and still am not able to delete single events in a recurring series.

    I am experiencing the same problem (Genesis – Adorable Theme), and found no plugin conflicts. If I change something, like the dates, of a recurring event the option to change that one event or the series comes up. But, if I try to trash just one date in a series it deletes the entire series with no popup asking whether to delete just this instance or the whole series. The site is: sewvactld.com
