ParticipantAfter switch from Calendar PRO 3.12.4 to 4.1 version I lost adv-list-widget in page sidebars. ( when i switch back to 3… they come back. )
Have You any idea about reason of this situation or could You give me some solution?March 18, 2016 at 5:23 am #1090891Brian
MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
I am not sure why that is happening.
Do you have any customizations for the Event List widget in this directory of your theme:
yourtheme/tribe-events/pro/widgets/
When on 4.1 is the widget still in the widget section or is it gone there too?
Let me know and we can go from here.
Thanks

MemberOk how strange.
I see you are using German on your site, correct?
Have you updated to 4.1.0.1 for The Events Calendar and does that help?
There are some issues with that translation file that we fixed in that release.
That update is for the free version only, but maybe there is something more with the Pro version too.
Let me know.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Carsten,
I’m just a user, and no expert so please take this for what it’s worth. The same problem occurred for us after the update. We found that the Events Calendar Pro plug-in was deactivated after the update (The Events Calendar reactivated automatically, but not the Pro plug-in). After activating Pro, and then re-adding the Events Calendar widget to our sidebar we were back in business! Hope this is of some help.

MemberThanks Suzanne,
That might help too, but not sure if that is the issue in this case.
Carsten can you confirm you are upgrading both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro
Thanks

ParticipantHi Suzanne, thx for advice.
Brian, thx You also.
Yes, i use German.I have just update to 4.1.0.1 and now is better, i have widgets in admin sidebars area.
Now i have this error on front:
/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/List_Widget.php on line 129line 129 is: include Tribe__Events__Templates::getTemplateHierarchy( $template_name );
echo $template_name; return: “pro/widgets/list-widget”
i checked new version “Event Calendar Pro” and there isn’t this file “list-widget.php”.Thanks

MemberHi,
Glad it is moving forward.
There is a list-widget.php in that location so if you do not have it I would recommend getting the latest version of Pro again and manually updating as it sounds like it is missing files.
You can download the latest version from your account here on theeventscalendar.com
And follow these steps to manually update:
Although that process does not delete or change settings or events it is a good idea to backup just in case.
Let me know how that works out.
Thanks
