Hello Cliff,
OK, so it is not possible to import recurring events. You are actually
right. I recall to have manually edited all 900 events and made them
recurring. I must have put this dreadful exercise far away in memory, but
it seems I have to do this once again. No clue why they no longer are
recurring though….Anyways, more important, I cannot edit any event because as soon as I open
a series, regardless which one, the browser freezes. Is there a way to export all event data, and then import the events again.
Perhaps the problem of freezing will disappear by itself. Also, it gives us
an opportunity to review all the events, as only Excel allows us to do this
rather quickly.Regards,

RuudParticipantHello Cliff,
In somw way, yes, they do share the same recurrence pattern. I believe
almost all of em weekly, only the exact day varies.
Should I provide you with a login code to the website, so you can guys can
see for yourself?Kind regards,

RuudParticipantI tried the first two, to no avail. The third check however was a succes, in the sense that the calendar showed up again. Next I deactivated the most recent plugins I installed, turned out the E-Learning plugin LearnDash LMS conflicts. Which is too bad.
RuudParticipantHi Josh,
I managed to change the number via FTP. From 200 to 5000…
Thanks for your prompt help. Really appreciated!Regards,
RuudRuudParticipantHi Josh,
I cant find any Venue.php in the WordPress plugin editor.
I can only spot this file:
the-events-calendar-filterbar/the-events-calendar-filter-view.php
and a txt file (the-events-calendar-filterbar/readme.txt)
Also the standard Events Calendar and Calendar Pro dont contain a venue.php.Actually, reading in the forementioned readme.txt file, it says somewhere:
¨Distance Filter (PRO only, frontend)¨
But, I dont have this feature in the Calendar settings….which makes me wonder if I have all the files installed…Any suggestions?
Best regards,
RuudRuudParticipantHi Josh,
Here goes: http://www.cvah.nl/markten/categorie/markten/
It´s all in Dutch…Check the left bar, where it says Locatie
The Locations stop at the town called Goes, but there are many more town/cities in the database.Regards,
RuudRuudParticipantI think the postal codes of my events/venues is not specified sufficiently.
In the Netherlands, the syntax is 1111 aa, so 4 numbers followed by 2 letters. The list that I received only has numbers, which covers a wider area, hence making the search on location basis inaccurate.RuudParticipantHi Josh,
Yes, well, they are empty. I reckon then these constitute the basis of the Location filter?
Should these be filled in manually?
Is it possible to hide the Location filter?Regards,
RuudRuudParticipantHello Geoff,
I got it working. All issues seemed to be related to the file(s) I used.
Thanks for the update!
RuudRuudParticipantJust a sidenote; I found a plugin (Bulk Actions Select All) that helped me to delete all venues with a single click.
RuudParticipantHi Geoff,
Unfortunately, it did not work (yet).
I could import venues, but it used the full string of column headers as the title of the venue. So now I have 1790 venues with a ridiculous venue name (containing all the information such as address). All the specific info regarding the venue (e.g. address, city, country) were disregarded. So I´ll delete the venues, 88 times 20 venues at a time 🙂Perhaps I made a mistake when importing. The thing is, I didnt got a change to match the headers in the csv file to specific fields the Event Manager is using. Instead, it said it will be using the structure (i.e. matching of headers to fields) that it already imported in the (recent) past.
Is there an easy way to match headers and fields once again. Perhaps as simple as renaming the name of the csv file?
Kind regards,

April 21, 2016 at 7:37 am in reply to: Show only events of a specific category in the calendar #1105351RuudParticipantI think I solved it. Simply have the category included in the menu, so that only those events that belong to the concerning catgory are shown.
