RobertParticipant
Sorry this is such a slow response Barry.
I am using the default template it just for some reason is now displaying the post meta and info. I’m guessing the events manager default template strips this as standard right? Is it being over run by the theme?RobertParticipantSure Barry,
http://nagoya-info/eventsIf you check out the events listing view page and any single events you will see the the issue.
RobertParticipantThanks Casey, I was feeling a little stupid wondering if it was a new way to send an email that I wasn’t aware of. Sure, i’ll send an email explaining.
Many thanks
RobertParticipantHi Leah,
Thank you so much for responding quickly. As I explained I want to extend my pro license at the expense of handing back my community events add-on if thats ok.
I’, sorry, I didn’t get what you meant by “pro /a/ tri.be”. It’s not an email address is it?
RobertParticipantThanks Jonah,
Replaced the file and it works fine.
Sorry to sound like I’m having a moan about the plugin, I know how much you guys put into it.
Keep up the good work!RobertParticipantHi Grace,
So Sorry for the late response but I didn’t subscribe to follow-up comments and so didnt realise you responded. Let me give those all a try and ill get back to you.RobertParticipantHi Joyce,
Ouch…..did my site not like that code lol!!
I put it in and immediately caused a issue with the theme editor and and I had to get into the backend via ftp to wrench it back out.RobertParticipantHi Rob, sorry for the late reply. I’ll have a go!!
Nothing else needed here,
ThankyouRobertParticipantHi Rob, all seems to be ok now. I didn`t upgrade pro without upgrading the free version as you said. I only got a notice for the FREE calendar update and upon doing that the error message appeared. The pro upgrade notice came through about a day later. It seems fine though.
RobertParticipantI’m getting a red warning after upgrading saying “Your version of Events Calendar Pro requires version 2.0.6 or higher of The Events Calendar (you are currently running 2.0.7). Visit help for more information”. I have a valid pro licence so I’m not sure why?
RobertParticipantHi Rob,
I checked my plugin details and it appears all the files are dated the 27th of March meaning they are the updated one right? I still have the issues with the “event has passed” despite this.RobertParticipantLess of a Pro request but improvements to the current plugin.
1) The list of Organizers in the drop down overlap (the text) when more than 1 line. A line spacing issue – very minor but needs a clean up.
2) When adding addition fields there needs to be a larger text box for the “text” option. On the event editor page, it can be a little frustrating to write a couple of text in a custom field into a short 150px wide textbox. An option for “paragraph” or “long text” would be nice. Come to think of it, the cost box is also too short. The reason is, a lot of the cost info isn’t just a set price but also conditions attached e.g 25 dollars on the door, but 20 if you buy in advance etc.RobertParticipantThe fix is really easy, thanks Henry!
For others with this issue.
Locate the plugin file: the-events-calendar/admin-views/event-map.php
Add the line: scrollwheel: false,
Save and you’re done. Check out the pastebin below to see exactly where to add the code.
http://pastebin.com/weSav9UDRobertParticipantHi Henry,
It’s not a separate plugin but the google maps function on the events plugin itself.
Really appreciate the help. I’ll give it a try and let you know the result.RobertParticipantHi Rob, just wondering if Johah had seen the post?
Thanks
