Yeah I checked out the tutorial. It all makes good sense and I can follow it but a some direction with how to apply the case to the events list view would be really helpful!

I have a suggestion for the maps functionality.
Sometimes when I enter an address, the exact shop or venue location can be off be say 100ms, sometimes a block or two. I use another plugin called “map-press” for inserting google maps and one feature they have is the ability to drag the red pointer to pinpoint the actual building. It’s a very cool and extremely useful bit of functionality.

I actually did put the events.css into a folder but I can only access the folder in my hosting account to make the changes. I was looking for a way to directly adjust the css in the wordpress backend. That was the reason for copying the css directly (not in an events folder) into the theme folder itself, hoping the changes I made would stay.

Hey Guys,
I didn’t want to come back to this topic but theres a small problem with the fix. A new template called “events template” is created which I choose after applying the code. The trouble is, the calendar doesn’t actually appear inn the the main content area of the page, it displays in the background. Do I need somehow to be pulling in the content area’s for the calendar to be displayed in?

Jonah, the shortcode [calendar] doesn’t seem to work. I didnt think there were shortcodes with this plugin?

Thanks for the advice about how to work with Genesis. If I add using the shortcode, how will the permalinks for the imputed events be affected? Will they still use the event/event name ending as the page will be not be “events” anymore. Thanks

Hi Jonah.
Thanks for the reply but still having difficulty.
1) I removed the offending code for the full address but the page failed to load properly after that.
2) The option in the event calendar “settings” allow me to choose default, blog and archive style pages only. When I go to edit the “event page” I am able to choose the full width option BUT this doesnt seem to have an affect ad the default (with sidebar) is automatically selected.

Yes, sorry.

After looking through the event manager css, the column width had suddenly changed to 30%. I resolved it by putting css in the main theme’s css increasing it to 46% with a !important ending. I’m a little confused as to why it suddenly changed though. Any ideas? Was it something in the 2.02 update?
