ParticipantI now see that I can rearrange the order of the Mentor and Student Tickets by Drag and Drop and updating.
Now all the exports are coming out in the same format.
This issue is resolved.

ParticipantNot sure how I can send the picture illustrating the order of the event tickets. I originally sent the picture pasted into an email, then as an attachment. I don’t see any function in the portal that would allow me to upload.

ParticipantJaime,
Looking at this issue closer, in attempting to manually format the export, I think I now understand one of the reasons this is occurring.
The exports in question are for events that have both a youth and a mentor ticket.
Both of these have some common elements in the field set but many that are not shared.
It may be beyond the scope of Events Attendee Field Sets to gracefully handle this. That is why for two of the events the export presents the columns one way and in another it presents it another. And I suspect this is for no other reason than the ordering of the two types of attendees.
Below are screen shots of the Tickets for the 3 events. The one on top(Auto Maintenance) has the Mentor ticket first and when exporting the name field which is labeled First Name etc. comes ahead of Student’s Name unlike the other events below where the Mentor ticket is below.
Lesson Learned for next year.
Would you or your team know which table(/s) Events stores this information?
I may try do a manually query if possible.

ParticipantJamie,
I’m afraid that your request is not doable. I understand that all troubleshooting for WP plugins goes to disabling plugins as a process of elimination.
However in this case I think that is a very intrusive and disruptive method to begin to address this issue.
If things were flat out not working then I might see the point. However things are working they are just being ordered in a way that I can’t understand where the underlying ordering is occurring. We do not have a staging environment currently and we have a plethora of plugins so this process would be many days of testing.
I can send you the screen shots you requested but if the disabling of plugins is all that you can come up with as a starting point then we might as well close this issue as unresolved and I’ll assist the end user with getting the spreadsheet from the different events formatted the same. In the end that would be infinitely less labor intensive than what you’re suggesting.
If there is another level in your team you’d like to escalate this issue to I’d be open to that as well.

ParticipantThanks that seems to have done the trick.

ParticipantVictor,
We block IPs from outside the US. As a technical college in the midwest there is no reason for us to be worldwide and because of the number of attacks on web sites that emanate from IPs outside the US the decision was made before I started working here to block them. May I ask if your location is outside the US. If not then I’ll need to investigate that.
I will also see if I can match these errors with blocking on WordFence.
Thanks!
Derek
ParticipantWe host internally. Yes 500 errors are coming from the server. A trace back to these IPs are coming from a Google Bot crawler. Is there a known issue with Google Bots and Event Pro having an issue. At the time this snapshot of the log was taken the only errors were occurring when the Google Bot was accessing Event Pro pages.

ParticipantJamie,
Thanks for the response. I don’t think the members only calendar will work for this application. This will be an event open to the public but the sponsor wished to have a preregistration for some institutions. These would be users who do not have login rights nor would it be an elegant solution to create login rights for all of them in general or individually.Might I suggest to your team that this would be an invaluable feature and ask that you consider it for future release. I can’t believe this kind of function only has value to our organization.
Many thanks!

ParticipantWent to the plugins folder on the server and all the folders under Calendar Pro were empty. I deleted the parent folder for it and installed the plugin. It was successful and is working.

ParticipantWe do use Calendar Pro. We did not remove it but its no longer showing up on the plugin screen. I’ve downloaded the latest version and tried installing. It fails with destination folders already exists.
