The embedded shortcodes were working but now showing the actual code instead of the calendar on the page.

I’ve temporarily put in a direct link to the entire calendar but here is the short code displaying on the page when you went to it:

    [tribe_events_list category=”employer-events”]

I went to the knowledge base and saw this may look different and changed it to:

    [tribe_events view=”list” category=”employer-events”]

However, that still just displayed the words instead of putting in the calendar.

Hi, Derek. This should only happen if you have Events Calendar PRO deactivated.

Please check if this happened. It could sometimes happen upon automatically updating (just an occasional fluke in WP).

Please let me know what you find out.

We do use Calendar Pro. We did not remove it but its no longer showing up on the plugin screen. I’ve downloaded the latest version and tried installing. It fails with destination folders already exists.

Went to the plugins folder on the server and all the folders under Calendar Pro were empty. I deleted the parent folder for it and installed the plugin. It was successful and is working.

Excellent. Thanks for letting us know. You might request your host to run a permission fix. https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions details what file and folder permissions should be.
