ParticipantWe have upcoming events. Before making these events public we want to be able to provide early bird access for selected clients to use codes to purchase tickets.
What I would like to do is to set these events up but have them not show up in the calendar and only be accessible by a link we would provide to the client with the code for them to use.I have been looking at any number of options including password protecting the page but that does not hide the ability to purchase tickets to the general public.
I have also attempted to remove from our main calendar category, but if they will still show up there.
Products being used Event Calendar Pro, Event Tickets Pro as well as Woo Commerce.
Open to any suggestion. I couldn’t find anything in the knowledge base on my search terms but I’ll keep looking.February 8, 2018 at 11:36 am #1448100Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Derek,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
One thing you can do is to create a members-only calendar. In the following example, this is set up for logged-in users only, but you can adjust things to suit you needs.

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!
Thanks,

ParticipantJamie,
Thanks for the response. I don’t think the members only calendar will work for this application. This will be an event open to the public but the sponsor wished to have a preregistration for some institutions. These would be users who do not have login rights nor would it be an elegant solution to create login rights for all of them in general or individually.Might I suggest to your team that this would be an invaluable feature and ask that you consider it for future release. I can’t believe this kind of function only has value to our organization.
Many thanks!
