ParticipantOK an update. I’ve installed http://sudarmuthu.com/wordpress/email-log email log.
And my fears are true! The ticket sent to buyer states the date of the FIRST event ticket date. The original recurrence and of course that date is WRONG and event has PASSED.
To date you guys have ignored my support requests as they are “additional” to the plugin. This issue is not, so i’m looking forward to your support and solution.
This site is live and taking orders so would appreciate a fix ASAP. Thanks

ParticipantI have this issue at http://shop.paulpetch.co.nz/ too. The fix outlined does not work for me either.

ParticipantRob. I simply want a copy of the ticket emailed to admins as awell as users.
Daily event for 52 weeks. Various times and soon to be venues.
Now, how do admins manage ticket sales if nonone knows what time, date, venue and topic has been purchased!?
Putting aside the “its woocommerce” at fault. Lets move forward and fix this clearly obvious fault of this plugin. If a copy of the purchased event is mailed to the user via woocommerce from the events plugin- why not the admin too.
I have several plugins installed and they have a tick box to “send copy of email to admin”.
Refund is not an option now i’m afraid as i’ve invested more than $1500 US to get this thing integrated. And currently it looks like more to get it working as an event ticket plugin.
So, what code do i add to simply send a copy of the “ticket”? A genuine fix would be appreciated as to date i’ve had no help coding any of these plugins into my business website.

ParticipantKelly. I appreciate your reply but it has nothing to do with woo commerce. The fields are there to populate when you see the ticket processing from processing to complete- but they are not filled.
This plugin seems to lack many core elements yet more plugins are being added and developed. Surely time spent in providing a way for admins to actually see purchased tickets should not be a request but a core part of the ticket plugin!??
So let me get this straight. I add a ticket and its price. Dates. Venue. And associate to an event in the calendar but when purchased admins get no details sent to them such as price. Dates or Venue?
So as an admin we spend hours populating events and tickets and products. Spend countless $$ to integrate the calendar and tickets to products because there are still no short codes- and now we also have to manually login when we get a sale and look through every ticket by hand to see the dates chosen by the user?
I think that its a fair assumption to make that fields you add to an event actually get sent to you once a ticket is purchased? I’m shocked that there is no way of seeing this.
Can i suggest that rather than constantly developing plugins that no one needs that some core features such as short codes and managing sale/ location dates is part of this paid plugin.
Surely there is a solution? A hack or something. Can’t you just add a tick box in ticket settings to send a copy of the ticket to an admin?
I’m so disappointed with the vagueness of support in here. Its like no one actually understands the product they are selling!

ParticipantKelly. I understand that the attendee list is associated with the ticket. I fi have seven daily recurring tickets over 52 weeks how exactly can i find thats finer details? Are you suggesting that i manually login and go through every ticket and look at attendees? Ridiculous.
Emails are being sent to customer. But not to me! That email has all the details i need to calendar in a time, date and venue for the paying customer. Its not a solution but at least i can see what they have booked!
It looks like a poor system if this this is the only way i can see attendees at a glance. Surely as admins we should have a calendar with booked events at a glance. What if there are more than one admin?
Even if the ticket page where you set to complete had this information? So yes, still no solution.

ParticipantDarn auto correct. Try this….
Thanks. Yes all setup correct. Thing is, I do not receive a copy of the email/ ticket outlining the chosen event after i set order to completed. With some events being every day for a year, I\’m guessing when it comes to attendees.
Why is this information not visible on the tickets payment page where you set to completed? Variable products are.
So yes. I still cannot find what workshop buyers have chosen!

October 20, 2013 at 3:22 pm in reply to: How to get the event permalink in mini calendar grid view? #71828paulpetch
ParticipantCould give me a broad sense of how the big calendar works? This one (screenshot: http://d.pr/i/2QgQ)
What I want is to put it in another page (a woocommerce product page) and query it so that it displays only events from a certain event category. But I’m having trouble to even make it function on the product page, it doesn’t display the current month, and only populates itself if I click on the next or previous month (screenshot: http://d.pr/i/jsg). All scripts and styles are normally loaded and identical with the original tribe template (via the proper Tribe_Template_Factory methods) so there must be something else at work here.
Does the calendar need the URL field to understand what month it should load? It seems like it because changing the month by clicking also changes the URL via the history method in JS.
Is there a way to tap on the data-category=”” attribute so I can limit the terms on it?
Any heads up here would be appreciated.

ParticipantActually scrap that, I reckon there’s no way to do that since the mini calendar is not supposed to bring the actual events in the actual calendar.

ParticipantThanks! We are looking at it as we speak. Shortcodes. That is all 😉
I’ll keep you updated.

ParticipantJulie, re read post and let me explain more. I have purchased both pro calender and also tickets. By passing the step prior to checkout is not required. Infact, it makes utter sense seeing as my workshops are infact events!
The current woocommerce variable checkout will stay- and be used for more traditional items such as t-shirts.
I like skype and if you want to chat about the tweeks i’m at paul.petch
