ParticipantThanks Nico, this worked!
The tickets module has moved up above the map and meta box.nthomas
ParticipantHi, I have another glitch that seems to persist even after updating to 3.10.1.
I just made a content change on the WordPress end of my event, and now the tickets module has completely disappeared from the event.
I understood that 3.10.1 was supposed to fix this.
I am now just hyperlinking the Eventbrite tickets page to the WordPress event page as a stop-gap means to providing our audience a way to purchase tickets, but this issue really needs to be resolved. Please help!

ParticipantHi Nico,
To answer the question you asked in my other thread, it looks like we have version 3.10.1 of Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, and Eventbrite tickets. I’ll let you know if I’m able to move the tickets box up once I implement the snippet.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Nico,
This thread here from another user seems to be the same issue I’m having and from the response, looks like it is being documented for the next release to address: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/import-event-changes-setting-for-displaying-of-remaining-tickets-in-eventbrite/
I’ll check on your response the the other thread I started and answer it there.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Nico.
I actually have not implemented this snippet yet, but am ready to do so.
And you are correct, I was probably pasting the snippet after the php closing tag, causing the error.
I just updated to the latest version, so I want to confirm, can I use the snippet you indicated with version 3.10.1? Or will you need to provide a new snippet?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Brian,
EventBrite support was able to correct the time of our Events, and I also let them know that the cause was most likely due to The Events Calendar app integration.
I just updated to 3.10.1.
Should I be ready to go, or do I need to delete the snippet that was added to the functions.php file that was released last week as a short term fix?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Brian,
This is actually in Eventbrite itself.
In our case, we never had a problem with the times shifting in WordPress: our problem was the times shifting in Eventbrite anytime we made any content edit (copyedits, updating the image) to the imported WordPress. We were able to manage by manually going into Eventbrite and correcting the time. But the problem now is that when I try to correct time and hit save, it doesn’t take and the time doesn’t change. It remains at the incorrect time.
Let me know if you have any insights!
Thanks!

ParticipantBarry, just tried importing the Event ID again, and it took successfully this time without the error message.
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for the update.
On a a related note, yesterday I tried to re-import an invent that I deleted, but when I entered in the event ID, I get the message: We were unable to import your Eventbrite event. Please verify the event id and try again.
Any fix for this situation?

ParticipantModern Tribe, actually a big NEVERMIND that the applying of the code snippet to the file.php corrected anything.
While the ticket modules reappeared after I applied the code a few hours ago, I am now doing another sweep of our events and the ticket modules are now ALL GONE again. What has happened in the past few hours that has caused the fix you provided to be undone, and how can we fix this once again?
Please help!

ParticipantVail Leadership, p88dadmin, reference the code that is provided in this thread:
Imported Events from EventBrite say 'Published without ticket', buttons gone

ParticipantUpdate: I’ve added in the snippet of code to functions.php file, and the ticket modules have been restored to our events.
Let us know when an update/more permanent fix has been released.
Thanks.

ParticipantCurious, is there a way so that once events are imported, content changes in WordPress do not update in the Eventbrite event? Wondering if this may be contributing to the inadvertent changes.
Also, ideally we’d like to have slightly different event descriptions for the same event on our own website and on the Eventbrite listing.

ParticipantActually do you mean “Display Tickets” (not “Display Events”) on the backend of the event on WordPress? Perhaps that was inadvertently toggled to NO in some cases, causing the ticket module to disappear. I’ve paid attention to make sure it is toggled to YES whenever I’ve make any changes to the backend of the event going forward, and it seems to stay put when I update.
