    Jessie,

    What do you mean it worked as expected? How can I set up my timezone so it doesn’t mess everything up?

    To test this issue, I configured the Event timezone in EventBrite (please check out this article if you are not sure how to do it) to match my WP timezone (you can check that in ‘WP Admin > General’). With the same timezone for both I proceed to import the event. After this I checked my Event in EventBrite, and the date was unchanged, also checked on the imported event and ‘Start Date & Time’ and ‘End Date & Time’ where successfully imported. That’s what I meant with ‘work as expected’.

    Does this makes sense? Would you like to try it again with EventBrite 3.9 making sure both settings match?

    Best,
    Nico

    Nigel,

    Thanks for the follow-up answers and the testing. Looks like we are closer to getting this fixed 🙂

    It indeed looks like a conflict with your theme. There are no known issues with our products and ACF, so I would say that’s not the cause. I see the site now, so if you can activate the theme I can investigate further on this conflict.

    Also I deleted the credentials you sent in you’re previous post as we are not allowed to login into client sites.

    Glad we are on the right direction now,
    Thanks,
    Nico

    PS: I forgot to answer you previous concern about refunds. The Company offers refunds within 30 days of purchase, you can check the ‘Refund Policy’ section at our Terms & Conditions page for more information.

    Hi Nigel,

    Welcome to our support forums, and thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear you are having troubles setting the this up, but I’m sure we can get the week view working soon.

    Most probably this issue is produced by a conflict between our product and other plugins or with the active theme. Please follow the steps outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide.

    If it’s possible send me a link to your site, so I can check it my self. The one you provided (“http://dev.touchakl.com/”) doesn’t seem to work.

    Looking forward to solving this,
    Nico

    Hi Thomas,

    Thanks for hitting the forums – I’ll try to help you on this.

    The simpler way to embed Events in Posts is using Event Rocket. This handy plugin allows you to include events via shortcode directly from the post editor. There are a bunch of parameter you can add and combine, take a look at the complete list. For example:

    // embed all events tagged wine
    [event_embed tag="wine"]
    // embed all events tagged wine & taking place at 'some-bar' venue
    [event_embed tags="wine" venue="some-bar"]
    // embed specific events by ID
    [event_embed event="wineworkshop-1,wineworkshop-2"]

    If you need to get those in the page template, check how to do so here.

    Please let me know how this goes,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Anders,

    Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out.

    Sorry to say I don’t fully understand what you are describing. Could you elaborate a little bit more on this?

    I’ll be happy to help you out once I get a clearer idea of what you are looking for,

    Hi Joseph,

    Thanks for your interest in our products, and for reaching out as well. I’m sorry to say there’s not an option in the admin interface to do this.

    This is possible but would need a bit of custom code. You can check this post and also this one, to have an idea of what level of customization this requires.

    If you decide to purchase Event Calendar PRO our support team will be happy to assist you with this.

    Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions,
    Hope to see you on-board soon,
    Nico

    Thanks for doing so David 🙂

    As this is a customization and I can’t provide further assistance I’m closing this topic – but please don’t hesitate to create new topics if you need help with anything else.

    Have a nice one,

    Hi James,

    Thanks for reaching out and also thanks for taking the time to search for similar topics in the forum. As you point out this is something that happened to many users lately, so I’ll try to dive into it and see if it’s a conflict with SEO plugins (Yoast in this case).

    As you aren’t able to test for conflicts in your site, I’ll suggest you do a template override of the widget view to strip the hAtom classes. To do so you need to copy the file ‘list-widget.php’ from ‘wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/widgets/’ over to ‘wp-content/themes/your_theme/tribe-events/widgets/’ – you can find detailed information about this in our Themer’s Guide. Once you have the file in place, go ahead an edit line 31 as shown below:

    // original

      // modified

    Please let me know if this works for you,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Jessie,

    Thanks for reaching out and also for the detailed report on each of your issues. Really sorry to hear you are having so much trouble setting this up 🙁 I’m here to help, and want to do whatever we can to make things right.

    Most probably some of these issues are coming from a conflict between our products and other plugins or with the active theme. If you can, please follow the steps outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide. Also to get quicker and more detailed answers I’ll need you to create separate threads for issues #2, #3 and #4 – when doing so please include a link back to this post and if possible answer the follow-up questions I provide for each one. This way the issues can be addressed simultaneously by different team members. I’ll continue to help you with #1 in this thread.

    Let me give you a quick overview on each issue:

    #1 – This is a byproduct of how the plugins currently handle timezone conversion (its converting the time on import to match WordPress settings). There isn’t a short-term solution, but the release we’re about to ship adds a feature

    that makes timezone conversion optional in EventBrite. It’s coming out next week so if you can hold out until then it will be great.
    If you are interested in getting access to an early “beta” of the upcoming release just let me know and I’ll hook you up.

    #2 – I’m struggling to recreate this on my end, and nobody else on the team seems able to either. Maybe it’s a bug we are not aware of.
    Please confirm is this is still happening after testing for conflicts.

    #3 – Not sure if I clearly understand what’s happening here. Our plugin doesn’t include social sharing out-of-the-box, there’s a Knowledge base article on <a href=”https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/adding-social-media-

    sharing-to-events/” target=”_blank”>Adding Social Media Sharing to Events you might want to check.
    When yo say “…when we import an event, this option gets UNCHECKED somehow…”: Do you mean the option “Include links to Facebook and Twitter” in EventBrite gets unset? Or just no social sharing options are showing up

    in the WordPress event page? Are you using any social sharing plugin in your site and that’s not working as expected with imported events?

    #4 – This sounds like a serious concern. That said, this is the first report we’ve seen of it — and I’d think if there was a problem in the codebase this would be a fairly common report.
    Please confirm is this is still happening after testing for conflicts. If so please provide any particular steps / settings to help us reproduce this on our end.

    Thank you for the patience and time this process requires. I hope we can help get this sorted for you very shortly.,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi brainpop,

    Thanks for reaching out on this.

    Actually it’s normal to see some multiple JOINs in our product queries. I’m sorry there’s no work around for this right now 🙁

    I pinged the dev team about this and it’s something that will probably be refactored in the future (maybe adding a table), but I’m sorry to say that will not happen in the short-term. You are welcome to suggest this a feature for future releases at our UserVoice page, that way it can up-voted by the community.

    Sorry I can’t be of much help with this,
    Best,

    Hi David,

    Welcome to our support forums, and thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately this isn’t something that comes out-of-the-box with the Filter Bar plugin right now. We are aware this is something many users need, and it’s actually planned for upcoming releases.

    That being said, it’s possible to get this working but will require some coding on your end. You can take a look at this sample, also explore this thread and this other thread. That should get you on the right track.

    Hope you can get this customization up and running soon,
    Best,
    Nico

    PS: You can up-vote and subscribe to this feature at our UserVoice page.

    Hi Brendan,

    Thanks for reaching out. Let me explain one thing before we jump into the actual solution of your issue: Events tags are regular WordPress tags. That being said we can move on.

    Create a ‘tag.php’ file in your theme (you can copy ‘archive.php’ is it exists). The loop structure should look like this:

    <?php
    if ( have_posts() ) :
    /* there are posts for this tag */
    while ( have_posts() ) : the_post();
    /* print post */
    endwhile;
    else :
    /* there are no posts for this tag */
    echo 'No posts found for this tag';
    endif;
    ?>

    Please try this on you end and let me know if it works,
    Best,
    Nico
