MemberHey @mla,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about this issue! Let’s get this right…
Checking out your site, I found a JavaScript error related to multiple inclusions of the Google Maps API in the given page. Can you check on that? JavaScript errors are visible in the browser console. Switching the theme to WordPress TweentySixteen will reveal if it’s indeed a theme conflict. If with Default theme the error is still present please deactivate the active plugins one by one, to see which one is causing the issue.
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi there Corey,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear about this issue…
What you describe seems to be an encoding issue. Can you please send me your site URL? Can you also please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Also, is there anyway to show the Filter Bar on a home page rather than just on the event pages?
Unfortunately this is not currently possible via plugin settings or widget shortcode. It might be possible to custom code this, but not a feature out of the box.
… the Countdown Timer is a feature that would go great on the home page (…) but not so great on event pages since it cannot be customized to show the time remaining for that particular event …
That’s an interesting comment. Definitively it’s not meant to work that way, but having a new widget or option to enable this behaviour would be nice! You are welcome to suggest this feature request at The Events Calendar user voice page, where we gather feedback from our community.
Please let me know about the filter bar issue,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi there @stagetech,
Thanks for reaching out to us on this! Interesting question…
I’ve gave this a try locally and I found that you’ll also need to copy the file event-tickets-plus/views/meta.php to your-theme-folder/tribe-events/. This happens because the file meta.php is being included by relative path at line 114 of tickets.php, so another way around this would be to change the path of the include.
Surely this is something we could do better! I’ll create a ticket for this to be changed, but in the meantime any of the above mentioned workarounds should work for you.
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi Brenda,
Thanks for reaching out to us, and glad to hear you could narrow down the issue to the theme you are using.
In this cases we recommend reaching out to the theme author on the issue. It’s very difficult for us to help on custom themes as we don’t have information on how they work!
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

MemberPerfect!
Can you try the suggested solution by Barry for this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/single-event-view-of-recurrent-event-show-list-of-events-in-the-series/#dl_post-129079 ?
Please give that a try and let me know,

NicoMarch 25, 2016 at 11:43 am in reply to: show description of venue on front end (Event Listing) next to map #1094207Nico
MemberHey Eve,
Thanks for clarifying! I’ll provide the code to show that in place!
Before I do so, let me say I’m not seeing the code you mention in my /the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php. So not sure if you are looking into another template (like single-event.php of map view, or another.
Also does your theme have a template override in place for this file? Is the code you shared from this override? In case the template has a modified version of the /the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php file please share the code with me in a private reply (you can use a code sharing service like Gists or PasteBin).
Please let me know about it,
Have a great weekend,

MemberHi Todd,
Yeap it might be a good idea to wait for this to be released if you are not needing it with urgency. Release 4.2 is scheduled for mid May – beginning of June.
Other thing that might work for you is to add the content before events in Photo View? Or you want to keep photo view as it is and create other page with the embed?
Please let me know if that would help,
Have a great weekend,
NicoNico
MemberHey @ Mad for Swing,

MemberHi there Benjamin,
Thanks for reaching out to us on this. You raise an interesting point!
I guess this is not a bug but more a limitation on how Ateendees Meta works. If having the attendee meta data is mandatory for your customers to purchase the tickets, then maybe you can explore the option of not showing quantity selector in the cart screen?
I’ll create a ticket to review this, but I’m not sure if this will be considered as a bug that needs to be fixed asap.
Please let me know what you think about this,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi there @destinyrocklin,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
While we do not have an option for this, you can use Advanced Post Manager to filter and sort events. One option that might come in handy for this is the filter to show / hide recurring events. From your description I guess your intention is to leave the first occurrence of the event series but that’s not possible 🙁
Please let me know about it,

NicoMarch 25, 2016 at 8:48 am in reply to: The search bar seems to be picking up meta text like the title of the next event #1094041Nico
MemberHi there Rob,
Thanks for reaching out! Strange behaviour you are reporting here… let’s take a closer look at this…
I could see this on your site (removed credentials as this forum is public) and I’m not sure why the ‘Swing…’ event is showing up in the results. I don’t think it’s because of the next/prev link. That event contains the ‘bar’ and ‘live’ words in it, but not ‘red’ and event if I search for that term the event shows up.
I see you marked that this was tested with default theme (I can see that in the video) and without any other plugins active, right? I will try to import the events from your site and re-produce this locally to see why this is happening. All events in your site are imported from facebook?
I’ll give you a heads-up when I can test this,

MemberHi there Nathan,
Thanks for reaching out on this! Let’s see what’s happening here…
Can you please share with me the EventBrite event URL so I can give this a try myself? Also please point me to the event in your site where I can see the same imported event.
What’s your default size for featured images? You can search you theme for the set_post_thumbnail_size functions which adjust the thumbnail size and see the value assigned?
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi there @rassak,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Can you please try to append the date to the events URL and try again? Like this: http://sitename/events/2016-04/, instead of entering the actual month and using prev/next links.
Please give that a try and let me know about it,
Have a great weekend,
NicoNico
