Corey
ParticipantHi!
I noticed that once I activated the Filter Bar and went to test it out, that instead of seeing a range such as $0-24, I’m seeing “& # 0 3 6 ; 0 – & # 0 3 6 ; 4 7 ” (putting spaces in otherwise it shows the correct numbers) — any idea of how to fix that?
Also, is there anyway to show the Filter Bar on a home page rather than just on the event pages?
On an unrelated note, the Countdown Timer is a feature that would go great on the home page (which I’m having trouble activating), but not so great on event pages since it cannot be customized to show the time remaining for that particular event (you can only display the next upcoming event, or a specific event, rather than each individual event)
Thanks!

MemberHi there Corey,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear about this issue…
What you describe seems to be an encoding issue. Can you please send me your site URL? Can you also please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

Unfortunately this is not currently possible via plugin settings or widget shortcode. It might be possible to custom code this, but not a feature out of the box.

That’s an interesting comment. Definitively it’s not meant to work that way, but having a new widget or option to enable this behaviour would be nice! You are welcome to suggest this feature request at The Events Calendar user voice page, where we gather feedback from our community.
Please let me know about the filter bar issue,
Best,

ParticipantHi Nico,
Thanks for touching base.
The URL to see the pricing characters on the filter bar is: http://www.urbanansel.com/events/
You’ll notice that if you press ‘reset filter’, the characters show the correct numbers; however, as soon as you change the range, it goes back to those un-encoded characters.
After switching the theme and deactivating all of the plug-ins except Modern Tribe products, the range seemed to be working fine. When I turned all of the plug-ins back on and switched the theme, the original problem was still present.
Hope that helps.
Thanks!

Can you disable just the theme and re-test? In case it’s still broken, please disable the plugins one by one, re-testing for this each time. This way you should be able identify with plugin is generating the conflict with filter bar.

ParticipantHi Nico,
It seems to work fine when I just disable the Eventica theme. Is this an issue that has been reported by other Eventica users?
Also, while I have your attention, can you instruct how to change the size of the ticket quantity arrows for events? The arrows are extremely small, so it would be best to either increase their size, or change the fields to a drop down format.
Thanks,

MemberCorey,
No that I’m aware of. Can you please reach out to them on this? They seem to integrate pretty well with our plugin, so I’m mostly sure they will be able to provide a work around this limitation.
Please let me know if they are able to help you,
Best,
