I tried this, but my site did not load after editing the settings.php file with the code (although I may not have done it properly).
I reloaded the original settings.php file and the site worked just fine.
I will have my website technical genius take a gander at this with your code, because I am uncertain as to whether I edited the file properly or not – I have VERY limited experience in this – just enough to be sure to save the original before implementing anything…
I will let you know after my tech man tries what happens. Thank you for your assistance.

After setting the Event Log to full debug and trying to download it, I get this message:
The selected log file is empty or has not been generated yet.
which is what was there before.Here is a screenshot of the top of the event screen. You are correct that the second instance of the event works properly. Hope you can figure it out.
When I click on Find out More, the event goes back to the list of all occurances of that event, instead of the single event template, which keeps my viewer from being able to see the map, the full description or the web link to order tickets.
Cliff, while you may have responded to the first part of my question – that being that the plugin puts information that belongs in multiple fields as part of the description field – I don’t think you addressed the topic of my question – and the second part of my post: The venue that is imported by AE does not separate the venue name from its address when adding the event to my calendar. Therefore, an event that is at Venue A imports with a new venue name such as Venue A, 123 Main Street, Anytown, MA 12345. What I need to happen is for the events that are at Venue A to utilize Venue A from my list of venues that are in my AE. Please address the venue issue.
