Hunter, I forgot to mention – there is no Mixed Content issue on the website.

    Hi Hunter,

I am going to keep this ticket open for the Yoast SEO issue and create a new one for the Event Tickets Edit functionality.

To summarize what is happening with the Yoast SEO issue:
The image of Yoast SEO panel that I posted on October 25, 2016 is what is present in the production site that runs SSL. Please note, I have disabled ALL plugins except Yoast SEO and Events Calendar (please note I also disabled Event Tickets plugin).
This issue is NOT present on the cloned website that DOES NOT have SSL and is running on a subdomain in the same environment.

    Regards,
    Marina

    Hi Cliff,

Thanks for the code snippet and logging a diffract – greatly appreciated!
I have Collect Attendee feature turned on which, after setting a default value to 1, causes issues on submit – the Attendee section is not visible, yet the Submit validation of all required meta fields (attendee data) kicks in and stops the form from being submitted that one would think would be good given the nature if this ticket. However, since a user cannot see those meta fields (they are hidden), the user thinks that nothing is happening and thus cannot proceed to adding a product to the shopping cart which is a big deal – I cannot sell anything 🙂

    Hi Hunter,

The issue with Yoast has not been resolved. It is still a problem in production that runs SSL. I cloned the prod website onto a subdomain on the same server and the result is – there is no Yoast issue there. The only difference is SSL between the two installs there – this is it.

As to the issue with the Event Tickets plugin, the issue that I am having with not being able to update the existing tickets exists in both installations in Production – the main website and the cloned one on the subdomain.

Hope this explanation is clear. Please let me know if you need more clarification.

    Thanks,
    Marina

I also installed a local copy of the app on my mac. There is no problem with either Tribe tickets or Yoast. The major differences that I see right away is SSL (in production) and different PHP versions. It is common to have SSL in production. Can you please test the same setup in your environment with SSL? Also, given not all hosting providers run latest and greatest version of PHP, I would expect Event Tickets to work with older versions. Can you please let me know what other information I can provide you with to have this issue resolved in a timely manner?

    Thank you

    Hello Hunter,

I tested the conflict scenario on a separate subdomain with twenty sixteen theme and just Event Calendar and Event Tickets with WooCommerce plugins. I do have a problem updating the existing tickets – the ticket update set of fields are not displayed when I click on the Edit button – it flashes white for a moment and nothing happens. I do not know how to see errors that may be occurring at the time when I click on the Edit button. Please advise.

I also tested another scenario – I cloned the main domain on a subdomain and I do not have a problem with Yoast. Everything is the same in both installs except the main domain runs SSL. I do have a problem updating the existing tickets on the main server.

    Please advise!

    Thank you

    Hi Cliff,

I am not changing tickets qty – I am unable to make any update because the ticket update panel does not show up.
I have disabled all plugins but WooCommerce and it still does not work. I cannot disable Woo because I will not see any tickets – I use Tickets with Woo.
This is the part of the screen that I am having an issue with in the latest and greatest version of the plugin.

This is what happens when I click on the Edit link
    PastedGraphic-4.png
That portion of the screen becomes whitish and no Edit Ticket panel is displayed as it was before.

Please let me know what else can be done to get to the bottom of this issue. I have the latest versions of all Modern Tribe plugins as well as WordPress.

    Regards

    Hi Nico,

I updated the tickets’ expiration date – you can go back to the same page and test the issue. I see that in the video you sent, there is no attendees section. If you would like to recreate the issue in your environment, you need to enable Attendee info collection feature so that when you change the ticket qty, it will show the attendee section to collect their information.

    Thank you

Please note, the pictures are in reversed order – the first pic has the right look and feel and the second one is what it currently looks like.

What I basically need to accomplish is to display events in the list view on other pages filtered by categories and/or tags. I thought that the PRO widget would do it, but it outputs events in a different format that I like when it is displayed in the sidebar that I would like to keep. I just need help with displaying the List view on other pages preserving the main calendar list view look and feel and filtering the events by categories and tags.
