    Hi guys,

I updated Event Tickets to the latest version – Version 4.2.7 a few days ago and I am no longer able to update the existing tickets. I can add and save new tickets but as soon I a new tickets has been added to an event, when I click on the Edit link for that ticket the whole Tickets section is covered with a white see through overlay and nothing happens. Please help, I need to update the tickets asap.

    Thank you

Hi. Sorry you’re experiencing this. It definitely sounds odd.

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to TwentySixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts mode).

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

    Hi Cliff,

I am not changing tickets qty – I am unable to make any update because the ticket update panel does not show up.
I have disabled all plugins but WooCommerce and it still does not work. I cannot disable Woo because I will not see any tickets – I use Tickets with Woo.
This is the part of the screen that I am having an issue with in the latest and greatest version of the plugin.

This is what happens when I click on the Edit link

That portion of the screen becomes whitish and no Edit Ticket panel is displayed as it was before.

Please let me know what else can be done to get to the bottom of this issue. I have the latest versions of all Modern Tribe plugins as well as WordPress.

    Regards

Thanks for the details and the screenshot. Yes, you’re correct to leave WooCommerce core plugin active too.

Whenever you see a white overlay like your screenshot, I recommend checking for console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

If there aren’t any console errors, I’d suggest trying Twenty Sixteen theme and see if that resolves the issue (to check if your theme is causing the conflict).

I hope you’re able to discover something to help us move forward. Please let me know what you find out.
