MemberHi Tang,
Thanks for your interest in our plugins. At this time, it is not possible for users to make tickets from the front end. You (or other registered site users with specific permissions) can add tickets to submitted events from the backend, but not through Community Events. Does that answer your question?
We also have a UserVoice thread for this feature so you can vote to have us add it in a future build. Adding your vote there will also allow you to stay updated as we work on it.
Best,
Leah

MemberHi Gabriele,
Thanks for contributing to our plugins! It looks like there are still some untranslated strings in these files. In PoEdit, they show right up at the top. Can you please translate the remaining strings, and then upload the files again? Then I can test them and add them to the plugin. Thank you!
Best,
Leah

MemberHi vediclover,
Thanks for your post. We didn’t make any major changes to how user roles work in our most recent update, so I suspect there is something different about your new website. I see that you have a license for Community Events- perhaps you were using that plugin previously on your other site? With Community Events your users can register and submit events from the front end of your site. Is that what you had before?
Another possibility is that your new website doesn’t have a user role plugin and your previous one did. You might check out a plugin like User Roles or Members. The WordPress Codex page on adding new users might also be helpful for you. Let me know if you need any additional help!

MemberHi lara,
We don’t have a “Featured Event” feature built in, although you might be able to do that with some customization. Events Calendar PRO does have a Countdown widget that would allow you to feature an event with a countdown in any widget area. You can see an example on our widgets page. Might that work for you?

MemberAwesome! Thank you so much. Please be sure that you have updated the .po file with the latest .pot file as outlined in step #6 of the Getting Started post. That way you’ll be able to translate all the new and changed strings.
Cheers,
Leah

Looks like you posted the Community Events files twice- I’m going to close up this thread and we can keep communicating in the other thread.
Thanks,

MemberHi Sérgio,
Thanks for working on this! It’ll be great to have a Portuguese translation for Community Events. We just yesterday released a new version of Community Events, and with it are some new and changed strings. I’ve updated your translation to include those strings and uploaded the file here. Would you mind downloading that and translating the new strings? Then the file will be complete and ready to be tested 🙂
Best,
Leah
