Adding users so that they can post their own events on calendar pro

Hi, I have been using events calendar pro for a few years but now i have a newer website. I have uploaded the latest calendar pro but i don’t seem to be able or know how to create users who can post their own events and send them a log in via a confirmation link email like i did previously. Can anyone help? I have customers waiting to use the events calendar and don’t have a lot of time to post their events for them.

Thanks for your post. We didn’t make any major changes to how user roles work in our most recent update, so I suspect there is something different about your new website. I see that you have a license for Community Events- perhaps you were using that plugin previously on your other site? With Community Events your users can register and submit events from the front end of your site. Is that what you had before?

Another possibility is that your new website doesn’t have a user role plugin and your previous one did. You might check out a plugin like User Roles or Members. The WordPress Codex page on adding new users might also be helpful for you. Let me know if you need any additional help!

Thanks Leah,I Suspect my previous events calendar pro installed about 4 years ago by someone on my behalf had installed the community events add on without me knowing or remembering. I purchased it the other day so problem solved i think. : )
