Hi, on this note.. I am using W3TotalCache. It is possible to load scripts by template. As best I can tell there are two templates for the events Calendar ECP-page_template and ECP-Single Template. I am not a coder so bear with me. which does the jquery.pjax.js and events.js use? or is it for both of them? That way I could load these on just one template. Perhaps that will help with the load. thanks

Thanks Jonah, Sort of… so.. appearance wise on the site. there would be two separate pages for a viewer to look at? like: http://southernarizonaguide.com/events and http://southernarizonaguide.com/community_events . What if I just wanted to allow people to input events without logging in but I want to moderate and edit them? I am not sure that I understand the whole concept. I can wait till Rob gets back if this is too basic or obtuse. thanks

    Rob,
I have not had a chance to check, so I just took out the map. My guess is that I am using MapPress PRO by Chris Richardson and that is somehow interferring with the Event Maps. When I have a chance I will verify and let you know. Thanks for checking in with me.

@Rob, I added it first as a featured image without any effect, so then I added it as an image. Not sure where the extra space is coming from. Some CSS I suppose. I am not that good at this, it would take me a while to find. So, if someone can look at their convenience, I would like to start adding pictures. Let me know if you need a login and I will send under email cover. Thanks!

    Rob,
If any other editors out there are as technophobic as mine, it will happen again to someone other than me, unless I just have a really lame Host provider, but I don’t think so. I will wait for that time.

I understand, don’t agree but understand. I would have thought it would have been in your best interest. the host apparently believes that the pings it is getting are possible attacks.

    Hi Joey,
I am often caught between a rock and a hard place. Like getting a car mechanic not to throw wool over my eyes. My host is: InMotionHosting. it is a Shared server, and they get pretty pissy, if you use too many resources. I would like it if you could contact them directly to see what the issue is here. I am considering trying another host when my term runs out. thanks for your help.

Rob, either your people are stumped, found a problem or just ignoring the issue. Now, The log file that I sent to you, and the reason the website was shut down was entirely our fault. (My editor is new at this than I).He had several windows open for editing.
However, my concern is that, even while editing one event, there may be some pinging of the server that is not or should not be there. it is hard for me to understand that while editing an event there could be so much wear and tear on a server. All I am asking is: What is actually going on to cause this GET PUT business when the files are not actively being saved. Mostly just curious. Perhaps that information may help get me an answer of some sort. I just do not want to make this mistake again. OR maybe this shouldn’t be happening at all.
    thanks!
